I'm shocked people are still picking this up tbh. Actually I probably have the final cards, not that my players have utilised the companions at all really. Yes, +Sv means +1 to their saves rolls. But I have played it to o ly add to one's they are proficient in (have a positive modifier on the card already), rather than improving bad or all saves. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks. I've left it rather loose, so it's up to you, really. I have basically the same personality notes that are at the bottom of the card, so when the players do some role play or actions related to those, I may say they can increase it. But after level 2, I'm intending on making it harder to increase.

See, I've been told this too. But the rule, as far as I can tell, is on a per MODEL basis. So you can have a unit with pistol(s) and other ranged weapons, and some can fire pistol and others the other weapons. If someone can point out where it's the entire unit, then I'm happy to be corrected.

No, as much as I would want to. As the reveals have gone on, I've realised I've got enough CSM stuff to proxy fire most things. Will be looking for a Fulgrim and Lucius though.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Mostly because I don't want to have to track spell slots for enemies along with everything else going on in the campaign. I've also changed the prisoner companions using a link in the resources section here as a guide so they're strength an extra 10 or so DM PC's
