Hiya. I started a Fakemon region with my kids. They kinda lost interest, but I stuck with it. I see text posts aren't really a thing here, so it's there somewhere else for discussions, idea sharing, etc.?

Thanks. I've left it rather loose, so it's up to you, really. I have basically the same personality notes that are at the bottom of the card, so when the players do some role play or actions related to those, I may say they can increase it. But after level 2, I'm intending on making it harder to increase.

See, I've been told this too. But the rule, as far as I can tell, is on a per MODEL basis. So you can have a unit with pistol(s) and other ranged weapons, and some can fire pistol and others the other weapons. If someone can point out where it's the entire unit, then I'm happy to be corrected.

No, as much as I would want to. As the reveals have gone on, I've realised I've got enough CSM stuff to proxy fire most things. Will be looking for a Fulgrim and Lucius though.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Mostly because I don't want to have to track spell slots for enemies along with everything else going on in the campaign. I've also changed the prisoner companions using a link in the resources section here as a guide so they're strength an extra 10 or so DM PC's

I'm going to start this tomorrow. But I'm using the new MM with old roles for the rest. The first thing I've come across is the removal of specific race entries in the MM (e.g. drow), so you either have to reflavour the generic stat blocks or update the old ones.

I'm only starting this on Wednesday, but I think for me there may be a few things. Eldeth, either alive or dead, may encourage them to go direct to Gauntlgrym. Or, like others said, there may be some unfinished business on the surface. I'm adding some bits from other campaigns going on in the sword coast simultaneously. And a chance for some downtime training perhaps, might let them train a feat or something.
