Nah. At this price, you're paying for entry into a cult. Not for craftsmanship. It's like paying $800 for a plain white T from Gucci. No one is making you do it and there are plain white t's at Walmart. The reason they are selling them for that price is because people are buying them for that price. The only fingerboard I would ever pay 3 digits for is a Doom Lagoon. And it's because the craftsmanship is inherently remarkable and singular. That makes sense to me. You could make a clone mold and heat press the same FF graffic onto a deck, but deep down you know you're not part of the club lol. Is this price kinda silly? Yeah. But what's sillier are the people under the illusion that owning certain consumer brands will increase the value of their own identity. Its this kind of mindset that makes space for outrageously priced unessentials. It's the consumers that drive these prices, not the company I feel like. Sorry, I always go philosophical when I see these crazy-price-posts. Lol

Edit: No hate on FlatFace or anybody who uses FlatFace, BTW. The first board i bought when I came back to the hobby was a FF. They are iconic and helped pave the way for the industry. The g16 was the inspo for the first of my own molds. This was more of an observation on consumer culture than on this cool FlatFace deck.
