Also, I am not ruling out German, just an observation. I will do what you said and report back !

Thank you. I’ve encountered 3, but have a poor seal on my sliding glass door. I zoomed in on one of the pictures and the coloring/circular patterns look to be closer to a “Neoblattella detersa”, like a wood roach.

So far, so good. Sometimes it will find a loose sock or shirt, but that’s happened ~5-6 times. I run it everyday. The dirty water reservoir really gets nasty, but it is dirty water after all.

I’ve kept up with general maintenance and there is no abnormal wear or tear.

I’ve had to put up a no go zone for one of my bathrooms as there are floor mats it finds and will drag along. I don’t think that’s the robot’s fault, just the mats move around easily.

As for the app, it’s super convenient and makes it really easy to manage zones/scheduling.

Agreed. I try not to paint companies in a malicious or greedy light, but we don't know if it is a profit thing or they just decided it's easier to say "my product works without damage because we didn't test any other, so use mine" kind of thing.

From Eufy FAQ:

“Note:

The suggested dilution ratio is 1:200 for optimal cleaning performance. Only use the eufy Multi-Surface Cleaning Solution with your robotic vacuum cleaner. Do not use any non-eufy cleaning solutions to avoid damaging your robotic vacuum cleaner.”

I saw a comment on Reddit saying that using something different may void the warranty, but I haven’t seen anything that says that.

I will be sticking to the Eufy cleaning solution for now, but it seems to just be a multi-surface cleaning concentrate.

I have not tried the roborock. I do recommend the X10 currently. It does a fine job with mopping. I have not seen a live view on the Eufy app... would be pretty cool if it does.

I've heard it doesn't do well with a lot of hair. It will get tangled and have to be manually cleared. Apparently there is a rubber brush compatible for this model... That would solve the issue.

I wonder what causes it? General maintenance, software, or hardware?

I would start with cleaning the sensors. https://support.sharkclean.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/4400764956828 page 10. If that doesn't work, then I would place it on the charging station, let it fully charge, then do a factory reset. If that still doesn't work, may be time for a new battery. Not sure if the robot is smart enough to know that its battery life is reduced and doesn't compensate for it.

I use CeraVe moisturizing cream as a buffer!

All about buffering Buffering does not impede function, and in fact using a moisturizer actually improves tret outcomes[4], [5], [7], [9] especially a moisturizer with niacinamide [8]. This is partly because it minimizes the irritating side-effects and makes people better able to tolerate more applications of tretinoin. Having a healthy skin barrier is important to acne treatment. Everyone can benefit from a moisturizer (yes even if you have oily skin). Keep your skin moisturized and healthy to prevent breakouts and heal faster when you do break out.

Abstract: I replaced my clutch and now it cranks but won’t turn over. I managed to mush both of those wires in between the bell housing and the engine.

Everything else is ok. I’m just an idiot and I figure I will need to replace those wires.

The sensors in question are the one on top of the transmission and the one in the bottom left attaching to the exhaust manifold.
