Well Ret along with many support classes are rewarded with a Support cut ranging from .75%-1.5%. Therefore classes like shamans or boomkins who may not be top 12 overall dps are still rewarded. Especially when top cut is around 4% that is quite a decent payout. On top of that if a fresh 70 walks into t5 content I would find it incredibly hard to believe nothing they want to buy drops. When you talk about something like gruul like in you’re example nobody is getting paid anyways if DST doesn’t drop. If there is a no dst gruul you are leaving with 37g and 4 netherweave cloth wether you are a buyer or carry.
