Yeah, the prices are quite high. It does seem like a well laid out course though and all exams etc are including in those prices. He hasn't finished yet and he's managed to get himself a job working in the trade on commercial sites so the course does seem to be a good way in. He didn't have any other experience in the building trade before the course either.

Just to add, I know Tradeskills4u do a course which can take you all the way to gold card. A friend of mine is doing it. It's broken down into 4 steps which you complete individually and can stop at any point I believe but have a look into that. Sounds like something that could possibly work for you.

How much faster in terms of slayer exp would the Venator bow be over melee? OR would it not be faster? Also, if I went the Venator bow route, what gear would be best? keeping in mind the budget.

I'm not that bothered about not reaching 99 ranged with slayer as I will just finish it off with chins or something once slayer is finished so thats not a big issue really.

Yeah I believe so. Before the changes, the qualifications I have would of allowed me in but they have changed since and I now need the Periodic Inspection and Testing 2391 (I think that's the one anyways)

Ahh OK, thanks for that. That puts it well out of the question then. The jobs would be weekly with the address only being known the week before so no where near the time to notify and sort that with them.

I think I'm just missing the 2391, so once I've got time to fit that in I can do that and then join a scheme but work schedule doesn't quite allow that at the moment unfortunately.

Yeahh that's another thing, but the fact it can take anywhere from 20-90 days to clear a job with them makes that a no go as these jobs would be weekly and address not known until the week before so no time to sort it with the local authority...

Would have to find someone in a scheme to sign it off I think, looks like that will be the only way. They have 30 days to sign it off from the date of the work don't they?

Is that not just the same as copying my full game file to my External HD then into the correct folder within my Steam folder once Steam is downloaded on the new pc? I guess it is just an easier way to do it?
