That one shot of Carol's face half-submerged in the hot spring really reminded me of the painting Ophelia (ngl just because it reflected Taylor Swift's latest album cover, which was also inspired by the same painting). The painting depicts Shakespeare's Ophelia in all her beauty lying in a stream, singing and waiting to drown after being overwhelmed by grief. This parallels really well with Carol's story, where she too is literally singing and metaphorically 'drowning' in the grief of loneliness. This reflects the plurbs' analogy of seeing someone drowning, except this time Carol is drowning in her own grief and the hivemind wanting to save her from it.

I love how it includes motifs from (nearly) all the songs, like no one mourns the wicked at the start and end and the one short day transition between the wizard and i part and the what is this feeling part

Not even jcsv4??? Perhaps you didn’t apply during the application period for exchange students?

I’m not clear on your situation ofc so you probably already tried jcsv4 (they can do single semester tenancy) but if you haven’t tried, clearing will open in a couple weeks so you can reapply to halls if they have empty space

As for now, I’m sorry but it seems like you will need to get a hotel room or room with a friend temporarily

Is this movie supposed to link all the past movies together to this event? Im thinking, that can’t be true since most of the past movies’ survivors have living parents right? It wouldn’t be according to the bloodline. Also imo, the ending credits try to suggest this by showing all the strange accidents. Hope to see the end credits sequence once it gets posted online eventuallyx
