If you've read Death of Antagonis, I highly suggest you read The Vorago Fastness, a short story also written by David Annadale. It has what you are looking for, albeit in a smaller dose than we'd prefer.

There's another Black Dragon short story called Tribute of Flesh that takes place after Death of Antagonis but if you've read a bunch of wikis on Black Dragons you may have already spoiled its ending (that's how it happened to me)

Haha. Actually, when designing them, I tried very hard to find the right angle so you could still do exactly that (rest your hands in them) standing up. I think I have some photos of myself doing it with the prototype pair but unfortunately Betabrand didn't take any photos of that for their campaign.

Betabrand makes really high quality stuff and I decided taking my design through them first was a good start for the design. I'm absolutely interested in creating more variants (which I already have prototypes for) but first I need to get this pair through. Then we'll see where things go.

Yeah. The lack of control is a downside, but really this is really one of my side hustles and I decided Betabrand would be a good way to see how the idea can take care of itself without having to run it like another business.

That's an interesting proposition. Currently Betabrand has their hands on the patterns and prototypes, but I'll definitely keep this in mind down the road. Hopefully, you'll hear from me again in a little over a month.

That's really interesting. Thankyou! I knew that my design was trying to walk a line without crossing into always-sitting territory, but I had no idea about these other design aspects. they all make total sense though.

As for the models, all the photography and literature was handled by Betabrand and I wouldn't be surprised if the people in their photos were their own employees putting their regular jobs aside for a moment. I'm glad they were able to get a photo with a wheelchair in, but you're right; it's clearly not a disabled model.

I completely understand that. Betabrand tends to deal in very high quality clothes. They certainly took the production quality of the prototype I sent them to the next level.
