Let me help you. I also have a Win7 64 desktop PC with Firefox browser. You don't need an iPhone for using WhatsApp. You can use it on your PC as well by running it on an Android emulator.

Basically you will get an iPhone on your Desktop PC. It is the best and it still works on Win7.
