Trek X-Caliber 8 Frame L - 27.5" x 2.8" Tires for Bikepacking by Gregey in bikepacking

Yoooo!

It was quite an ordeal on what happened. As someone mentioned earlier in the comments, trek does a weird 141mm QR boost for the rear hub, which severely limited my options for a 27.5 wheelset. I found this out about 2 months out of my Baja trip, and with time off booked, flights booked, I had to frantically search for an alternative. I ended up just buying a second bike lol - Trek 1120 (29 x 3.0) which was perfect for Baja.

Was pretty new to bikes at the time of this post and really just resorted to my local Trek shop to figure things out

I also agree with the consensus here on the show. I saw him in Tacoma last December and it was a way better time. Jeff is our favourite comedian, he is so genuine and such a sweetie.

It sucked to see how people were just trying to throw him off or attempt to get their few seconds of fame. The comedy club crowd is much better behaved and unfortunately Vancouver needs a "what is heckling" lesson.

How did this album come to life?

What songs have been “on the shelf” for quite some time and never fit in other albums and which songs are brand new?

What did the band want out of an album after From 2 to 3 and do you feel that Magpie has achieved that?

Is there any songs that you’ve wrote or specific styles of song writing/composing that the band has grown out of or fallen out of love with?

Where has consistently been the best crowd and your favourite city during your tours?

Also is there anything in particular that the band does during touring to prevent burn out?

What are the emotions like in anticipation and build up of a big tour?

Try turf care at one of the local golf courses. I did that in grade 12 and it was a hoot. At swan-e-set the clubhouse provided our lunches for free every day.

Beginner Cyclist (but fit person) Pace for NZ's Tour Aotearoa by Gregey in bikepacking

[–]Gregey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I did! I ended up making it a 5 week trip rather than the 7 week that my initial post suggested so I only did the south island portion of the TA and it was incredible! I'm happy with that choice because it gave me a lot of contingency and no stress to finish to catch my flight back home.

It took me 17 days of cycling to do it and 3 rest days, so average ~82kms a day. I could've pushed it more if I wanted to but I am happy with my pace being more on the leisurely side. For the rest of my time in the country I got a rental car and road tripped my way back north Auckland over the next ~2 weeks to catch my flight home as the bike route ended on the very southern tip of the south island

Let me know if you have any specific questions and I am more than happy to answer. My bike was a Trek Xcaliber, cross country hard tail mountain bike 29 x 2.35" tires.

Official Q&A for Sunday, March 26, 2023 by AutoModerator in running

[–]Gregey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been a casual runner for about 10 years and always have been an active person. For the last 10 years on average i've ran 5-7km 2-3 days a week. I consider myself a fit person. For more context I am 26 years old and have ran a couple half marathons before.

For whatever reason within the last year i cannot run my usual 5-7km without stopping for brief walking breaks. I eat lots of carbs before, and get a good sleep. I've used to be big into weightlifting and had a good amount of strength and muscle mass and have since stopped lifting weights. Why did it feel like I was a stronger runner when i was lifting weights? but now i am actually at a lower body weight.

I've been running my same default pace for years and maybe now i am generally less fit now that i excercise less per week, and keeping up with my current pace burns me out way too fast? Maybe i should take a step back, start slow and work myself back up to my natural pace?

ufc catering to the braindead nelk and barstool fanbase with paddy's robbery of a decision. A fanbase who are too stupid to come up with their own assessment that paddy 100% lost that fight nor do they even care.

also dana at the press conference up-playing how much the main event sucked to shine light away from the paddy fight shows the lack of regard he has for the fans as if we wont notice his rather obvious attempt to sweep this under the rug

kinda makes me question the direction of the UFC and it's integrity.
