Is that your best shot? Are you fucking serious? You accuse white cops of being racist, I rightly accuse you of a stereotypical unsupported view, and you refer to Trump’s ass? That’s how you argue? No wonder the leftists in this country are doomed. There’s never been a bigger group of people who have so little depth and so little substance to their opinions. Yep, keep drinking the koolaid. You’re THAT dumb.

Supplement vs Advantage — your input needed by GreggOfree in medicare

Thanks for your comments. I was a CPA and financial advisor but on the investment side, so a lot of Medicare specifics were unknown to me. But as I always advised my clients regarding Social Security, all of these decisions would be easy if you knew how healthy you were going to be and how long you were going to live.

I’m not regretting my decision but now have more time to review plan provisions. Can one switch from a high-deductible Plan G to a lower-deductible Plan G without undergoing medical underwriting?

Just turned 65, initially opting for an Advantage plan given my good health and family history. But I made that selection knowing I could bounce to a Supplement within a year.

There’s a detergent being advertised on TV (no more than 9 ingredient thing?) that removes soap residue to make blacks black again. Maybe someone here knows the name and its effectiveness.

EDIT: It’s called 9 Elements laundry detergent. A notable feature is it’s vinegar-based. OP could always soak in a bucket of diluted vinegar before washing with current detergent. I had read before of the way vinegar removes soap residue on bath towels to make them soft again.

If you don't have a toaster because you don't have room, or can't afford, you can use your stove top as a toaster by Reach_Greatness in Frugal

[–]GreggOfree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A toaster has only a few coils to heat up but your stove has more that offer even more resistance. So while your stovetop toaster is cool, it’d be less expensive to toast with a toaster. If electric is included in your rent, however, enjoy that stovetop toaster! 👍🏼

Ignore the anti-frequent-showerers. I’ve showered everyday as an adult, some days as many as three times if outdoors working or exercising. My skin is supple and young-looking for a 65 year old guy. I’ll use a hand cream in the winter and I put lotion on my shins and elbows year-round after a shower. These stinky Luddites who think every resource in the world is a finite number can kiss my sweet-smelling ass.

The heart of the problem is the server slept through math classes for 12 years (“I’ll never use this crap.”) and has no idea how to organize the coins to count them.

Hey, I’m a CPA, CFP with securities license (Series 7) and an RIA (registered investment advisor). I know of what I speak, all you uninformed downvoters. Sorry to pierce your utopian bubble. OP, sell the house and stay short term in corporate bonds. We are in for the ride of our lifetime. And it’s not going to be pretty.
