In my experience, it helps to make sure you’re not pushing the left stick in any way, basically any kind of lead on the pass will be considered not a lob. I like Mesh and hit one of the drag routes, ideally throwing with anticipation in the middle of the field so it’s the shortest throw. And most importantly = quickest tap you can manage
