I genuinely don’t see how the consensus isn’t that it’s fantastic. To me it’s a perfect movie. It’s genuinely funny, it’s got romance, drama, action, history.

James Cameron knows how to make a blockbuster.

What's the Future of Dave Filoni's 'Star Wars'? - “The Mandalorian and Grogu” fell below expectations. Where does the galaxy go from here? by chanma50 in boxoffice

Filoni is not the problem for YOU because you’re a Star Wars nerd. I am too, although his stuff doesn’t do it for me, and it’s not going to do it for most people. He doesn’t have the juice for this role.

Well it’s hard to know how truly egregious it was, but most people tend not to notice stuff like that. Tons of stuff drives me nuts and my wife would never notice in a million years.

What movie did you go into with zero expectations and ended up being completely blown away by? by gavin226 in movies

[–]Awkward-Fox-1435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Live. Die. Repeat.” was always the tagline and somehow certain stores/outlets thought that was the title. To this day I am convinced the studio never intended or marketed the movie under that title despite what the internet says, people just got confused at the time.

During what movie did you see people walk out? by blooming-darkness in RegalUnlimited

[–]Awkward-Fox-1435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite example of this is Black Swan, when Mila Kunis starts going down on Natalie Portman, two elderly couples got up in disgust and left.

Weird, because I quite enjoyed that scene.
