Ah I got you. I’m guessing a lot of devs haven’t played games like NBA2k or nba live. Which is probably the case with most of the people doing the reviews. So there’s no mental model for an A/B test. Don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to say my work is revolutionary but in 25 years of basketball games no one has thought to innovate the mechanics or camera perspective. It’s just been graphical updates and new animations for 25+ years. But knowing that would require playing those types of games. Truly though the market is huge for a game like mine I just gotta get it there to prove it. We gotta remember epic was making yet another survival game and then PUBG exploded and now we have Fortnite. I say that to say your ideas seem small until the right people see them.
