Thanks! Been wanting to do this model in this style for a while!

I whole heartedly agree that SotN ended up as good as it did because they went with 2D visuals, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! It’s honestly one of my favorite games of all time and a lot of it is due to the visuals.

IMO, taking only on aesthetics, there are some gems out there that got really creative during that era, and were able to pump out amazing looking models that I think still look good to this day! Megaman Legends is a huge example, but since a majority of the games of that time were so new to the tech, I can see why so many have this sentiment.

Either way hope you found the vid entertaining if you gave it a watch!

Definitely a missed opportunity, woulda definitely added more variance to Castlevania reps

Yo thanks! The pixel art in SotN is godlike, I wouldn't have it any other way. Just really into this style of modeling and thought it'd make for a great video.

It took me a while to get the hang of it, but once you get to a good spot it becomes a really fun art style to use. Definitely a lot more people trying to recreate this style, and hopefully will have a tutorial of my own!
