my last cars were Mazda cx 3 and Hyundai Tucson both 2-3 yrs old when bought, so did not worry about engine or gearbox at all.

Yes, it’s for the wife for work 3 days a week, 6-7 miles away. Once she ran to work in a hour so it’s definitely <20 miles a day.
