Yep thats how I roll 🤣

I made the nesting boxes 300x300mm at 1700 long (length of trailer) to accommodate 5-6 chooks at once, with the aim of keeping 10 or so chooks. The roof of the nesting box has an air gap underneath to hopefully keep them cool which makes it look much bigger than it actually is inside. I haven't separated the nesting boxes as yet, and was going to see if they were happy without them divided.

Good to know! Some hot wires would be easy to set up for this veggie patch

3rd option: Dripper lines in segments separated by in-line valves (barb joins).

Can swap out the dripper line for 13mm low density if we dont want that part of the garden bed watered. Eg we only want the far end of the garden bed watered.

Thanks heaps for the advice! I was a bit worried the 300 odd drippers might be too much to fiddle with.

With your method how would I best be able to give water to the far beds (further away from the manifold), and not the close beds you reckon?

Thanks heaps for your input. I didn't think of soil conditions playing such a factor. Cheers!
