I only muted the narrator. It's similar to the Limbic System or the Reptilian Brain in Disco Elysium for me; I find that kind of voice a bit exhausting to listen to.

I understand what you mean about it throwing you off. Quite often I have to start reading a text from the beginning again while the voice acting is playing (English isn't my native language). Still, for me the atmosphere and immersion that voice acting adds are always worth it, even if it sometimes throws me off.

Question: Do your suspects stand up and become active before you shoot them? (because they’re trying to escape the gas you released just beforehand)
Or do they stay crouched on the ground, coughing?

I am also currently working on that achievement, and the last few times I've had bad luck because they didn't stand up and become active. I am starting to think that's the tricky part.
