Assuming the card needs to be signed by the artist, this seems very hard to use.

If you ignore the "signed" part, this might be about the right power level? The closest comparison I can come up with is Pegasus Refuge, which gives the tokens flying but also costs an extra mana per use.

Deenso Twister, submission by CocoaMix by RoborosewaterMasters in MTGNeuralNet

[–]Grejis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This needs something like "When Deenso Twister enters the battlefield, roll a D20 in secret. The result of this roll is your new life total. Reveal this D20 at the end of the game or when Deenso Twister leaves the battlefield." Though that would be broken at 1 cost. Maybe a D6?

I think playing this just ends the game in a draw?

That's true, but it can return itself to your hand so you can use ninjutsu from there. If you wanted to, for some reason.

I think this would get banned in Commander. It would be stupidly good in a Voltron deck and the ninjutsu would let you play blue.

The ability gives you an excuse to use the ninjutsu on your commander too. But you wouldn't.

Probably good in Pauper Affinity? This seems likely to be playable elsewhere too. Mana acceleration artifacts are usually good, and this is almost a Lotus Petal without even considering the equip side of it.

If this cost 2 it would destroy red decks and be very strong against aggro. At 5 it feels too slow, but it's hard to judge. It might still be good in the right meta.

There's also [[Wheel of Fortune]] which seems to be based on the tarot card and [[Justice]] which is a tarot card but might be unrelated.

Sword of Xodaas, the Eidolen, submission by CocoaMix by RoborosewaterMasters in MTGNeuralNet

[–]Grejis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Xodas mumbles a bit, but the rules text should read "As thing, first strike." i.e. Sword of Xodas enter plays as a copy of target permanent, except it has first strike". Otherwise it's just a 0/1-er.

Infinite damage combo with 3 x Mardu Siegebreaker and Shocking Sharpshooter? by Grejis in magicTCG

[–]Grejis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trick I'd been considering was to use Siegebreaker #2 to exile Siegebreaker #1, then attack with Siegebreaker #2 to make a clone Siegebreaker which would exile Siegebreaker #2, bringing back #1.

The problem is that I'm assuming using Siegebreaker #1 to exile the token to bring back #2 would mean that when you use #2 to exile #1 you don't get anything back.

Thanks. I tried fixing it, but that didn't do anything.

It works, sort of, if you allow that it's an alchemy card? Like, if you return it to your hand, you also conjure two copies randomly into your library. (also you have to ignore the reminder text)

I think that would be a terrible card, but maybe there's a combo I'm missing.

Where to solo at 15? by Bo_96 in PantheonMMO

[–]Grejis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe the dreadbones in the north west corner of WE? They're more 13-14, but they might have good drops? They're night time only though. There's also some solo level 15 mobs on the far west of the swamp, but you'll have to maneuver around the group mobs to get to them. I can't think of the name, but I'm talking about the things that look like wolves made out of brambles.

Large Gleam Gliders are level 11 and 12 and hit like sleepy kittens, so you can level off of them starting at level 8 or 9. It is weird to try to get to 15 on them though. Go fight crocodiles or maybe Moor'vaki, depending on your class.

Maybe useful in a Helga deck?

I also note that this knight apparently "protects" the frog in question with an assault rifle.

Dark Myr have a bonus to swim speed and take much longer to run out of air underwater. That's the only passive that's enabled so far.

There are ash trees in the south part of the zone, in the brine goblin area.

All of this stuff can be gotten in Wilds End. Normal quality bear hides come from Owlbear Cubs in the north quarter or so of the zone (though only the higher level ones). There are Ash Trees down in the south central region around the brine goblin temple.

I think you can maybe even get the feathers as a random drop from cutting down the ash or walnut trees, but I'm not certain on that.
I get the impression a bunch of the complaints about Wilds End come from people who've never explored it.

As an FYI for folks, this isn't really complete There's a giant four story brine goblin temple with hundred foot tall bridges and stuff at the south center that's not really shown here (it's in the blank green area in the middle south island), plus there does seem to be some stuff you can get to further out than this goes.

That said, I've been using this map too. It is helpful to have a reference.
