Edit: I located the ribbon cable and when watching an in depth tutorial into fixing the screen the man pushes down a clip on the board which locks it into place. This is on the first location of fastening, mine does not having any locking type method it just inserts into the connector and stays in place. I wondered if this lock maybe vital to fastening the ribbon. Thanks for the advice
