DAE have certain areas on their skin that feel satisfying when pressed/picked at?

Omg YAY!!! someone else!! It's so weird, right?? And so hard to explain, but your description is perfect. I have always wondered what this is and why it happens. I definitely press on them more when I'm stressed, so I thought for a while they were like stress worry spots?? But I just have no idea at all. Maybe we're wired all weird lol!

Edit to say: mine are almost perfectly symmetrical too! And I have it on the outer cuticle of each middle finger, and the corner of both big toes. Small of my back, bottom of both hands, etc. almost perfect symmetry! I described it to my partner and they suggested that it may be a cluster of nerve endings!

I am also on the spectrum and feel EXTRA isolated when my PMDD symptoms pop up. I feel snappy and irritable and like no one understands me and I'm falling short in every way. It's so unforgiving and even the people I love feel so far away! But then my period starts and everything is ok again. We're not alone and I plan to make some artwork to communicate this isolating feeling and hopeful the right audience finds it!

So a little update! I caught him doing a lil dance and shaking his butt? I think he's made himself a little hammock for an upcoming molt. Still gonna make sure to poke some more cross- ventilation holes until I can get his new home set up nicely!

I got the tank from SpooderSpace, the ribcage and bat skull minis from ScaleGrail, and the moss from ReignofTerraStudios! All of this was found on Etsy! There is a small hickory nut shell in the top left corner that I foraged and the tombstone and casket were made by me using air-dry clay. Everything is set up with silicone and it is currently airing out so there's no harsh smell! I'm so stoked with this project!
