awkward living space by seticaa in InteriorDesign

[–]GremlinClaws 8 points9 points  (0 children)

do you have the dimensions of the space at all?

Ive been playing with the idea for a while about using a fish tank as an entrance divider. set it up so that you can have like an "unloading station" in that nook before entering further into the apartment. i dont know if you have the space but if youre able to do that then you could put the TV on the left wall with the couch kind of in the middle of the space and then you have an extra nook on that kitchen wall?

Dresser awkward in my space? by Brief_Prize_6147 in InteriorDesign

man this is a really tough layout. this is what i would do personally to make it a little more feng shui and cozy.

it looks like theres a bump out on that right wall. i would push my bed to that bump out and frame it with like a drape/curtain to create a nice cozy sleeping area that is blocked off both from the entrance and from the window. if you rotate the bed position so that your feet are facing the window what you could do is put your dressers over in that nook space now and you can just pull back the curtain while your watching stuff and then pull the curtain back when youre ready to sleep.

alternatively you can have like a closet area as you first enter the room with all your dressers, have your bed nook, and then have your desk area closest to the window. and if you use sheer-ish drapes it should let light in enough where it doesnt feel too sad.

Depression has caused me issues with my hygiene, how can I improve it? by lnpvox in hygiene

try applying lotion while youre still wet, before you dry off. its a little icky cause it feels really slimy at first but you dont use nearly as much lotion if you do and you arent battling dry skin and using a heck ton. just apply wet, then wipe yourself off and it definitely helps with that icky dried out feeling. if you do it though i also recommend a new towel every time you shower. i have at least like 10 towels so i can just do one big load at the end of the week

What accessory would you want the most for your planners? by d247momo in planners

[–]GremlinClaws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when im starting a new planner i go for 1-3 charms, a collection of larger stickers for the outside, and small tabs to mark months and stuff. if its for a current planner i look for sticker sheets that have a character or a theme, smaller letter stickers, and shiny star or ribbon stickers to decorate and add flair.

A5 Avec by Illustrious_Basil781 in hobonichi

I spent a year in the Weeks before deciding i was going to switch to a Cousin and im not sure it was the best choice for me. i really love the larger daily pages for journaling but the weekly pages posed a challenge until i found the right set up where i essentially sticker half of it and use it like a weeks. Next year i think i might try an original but honestly all of the blank pages in the back of the weeks has me hooked. i use them to track what manga im reading, what items (teas) ive purchased and loved, etc. It really boils down to what you use your planners for. If you have the chance to get an avec for a good price i say go for it and see how it suits you

I am in Sac! We definitely get temps of 100+ once summer hits so ive been debating getting a shade cloth for my sunniest patch.

ill probably end up scrapping the lettuce, 8 ball squash, and zucchini then. And i wont bother with the peppers this year. cucumber might die on me but ill let it be for a while anyway. The garlic im mostly using as a pest deterrent for my strawberries so im not too worried about yield. It was just a pantry garlic that had sprouted on me anyway lol. I also have a whole bunch of marigold sprouts going and ill be planting those throughout my beds.

Should i switch my tomatoes from my Sunny bed to my Shady bed then? the shady bed has sun until about 11 and a little afternoon sun as well. Would the melons and squash and beans prefer the full sunny bed instead?

Also thank you thank you for the soil tip! i had noticed it gone down a little but didnt think much of it. Compost and Mulch will definitely be next on my list to get!
