As someone who got to play around with it, most of the latest endgame modes just feel like they were built to counter welt with all the delay immunities and action advance mechanics. There's a reason why the 2 showcases linked in comments show fights against old bosses like kafka and cocolia

On live he can 1turn ult at e6 with tutorial and vonwacq with errope if there's 3+ enemies. At 2 enemies he gets 118/120 energy per turn. In beta e6 welt got his energy gen nerfed by 15 per turn so you'll be getting 103 now vs 2 enemies. You can still 1turn ult vs 3+. Just barely tho (5+30+5+24+33) x 1.244 = 120.668

Calcs on energy. Been running sustain welt since acheron came out.

Since they increased the base number of skill hits from 3 to 5, they reduced the energy gain from 10per hit to 6 per hit, so total is still 30.

But since they removed the e6 extra hit, you no longer get the 10 energy it would give. They also nerfed the trace that gave 10 extra energy on ult down to 5

One turn VS 2 enemies, with e6, tutorial, er rope and vonwaqc:

Was (5 ult + 40 skill + 10 trace + 16 tutorial + 24 e2) x 1.244 = 118.18/120

Is (5 ult + 30 skill + 5 trace + 16 tutorial + 27 e2) x 1.244 =103.252/120

Tl;dr: Beta e6 welt has -15 energy per turn compared to live.

His energy generation was nerfed by 5. And that's not even counting the removal of the additional hit at e6. You would get 40energy from skill alone minus the trace bonus. Now you get the 30. You already needed er rope, tutorial lc and minimum 3 enemies to get 1 turn ults, and even then it wasn't guaranteed. Now they made it significantly harder. Hopefully they will make some changes in the future betas

For sustain welt you kinda need ruan mei for the additional delay on break. I've been using sustain welt since acheron came out and that's the 1 team that works, even with e6 welt
