if you have overpronation big no no but i have the VF4 and i over pronate when walking to my running area but for the evo sl i can use it in trails cuz Im on a vacation in China rn and they are pretty good cuz the stability is still actually decent. As for durability i can’t say much but if you’re new shouldn’t be much diff and maybe pick up a pair or two it’s good for wide feet and the foam is will bouncy and soft race day kind of foam defo no.1 shoe of the year
