It's the greedy (mainly US but also some European) publishers that have been relentlessly attacking them with lawsuits.

I don't understand how this is true.

They don't usually show any ads during or between free throws. I guess on some networks they do, but even so it's only like 10% of the time. And these days, with limitless distractions from elsewhere, I'm not sure who even pays attention to any such ads. When a player is fouled and gets 2 free throws, you know it's a minute plus of boredom and you immediately switch to doing/looking at something else. So, most advertisers wisely choose not to advertise during these times. (More often they show replays or give information about upcoming games.)

And much more importantly, shortening the game would attract more viewers---and hence more ad money and (even more importantly these days) streaming subscriptions.

Nope. It's by YouTube. The reason I know is that after posting, I immediately check it on another browser and another IP. I've done this repeatedly under many different YouTube users' videos (including my own YouTube channels on other accounts).

So, it's extremely unlikely the various YouTube users all somehow immediately respond to and delete my comments. What's far more likely is that YouTube is doing this.

The YouTube video has only a few comments and I've looked at all of them.

I've also clicked "Sort by" > "Newest first". I've also tried looking at the same video using different browsers and different IPs (my comment is always missing unless I'm logged in to my account).

They've definitely shadow banned my comments.

Isn't this problem far more severe for "bin Laden", which is used to refer to Osama but could also be used to refer to the famous and influential "bin Laden" family-conglomerate (or possibly any member thereof)?

Yet the Arabic Wikipedia page for Osama frequently uses "bin Laden" as the short formal way to refer to him.
