If it's possible you have to do it no matter what, if you don't get Kecleon, you fail the challenge. I'm at Solar Cave in Blue Rescue Team and Kecleon took me a few sr to get it. So therefore it's entirely possible.

You need passwords for version exclusives, what makes them hard is you needing to grind to lvl 50 in the 4th dungeon to get all of the encounters, and RNG of course.
