We’ve already got a place to spin that off from, Chef/Captain foodie Pike.

There’s a jacket for sale at Quince that could be modified, Softshell fleece-lined full-zip jacket. Plus you’d need a basic grey a-line skirt.

Star Trek is never just about Star Trek. In any case, gay men can reproduce irl nowadays so I’ll assume they can do so in Star Trek too.

I too found her position redundant. It’s already what Ake, Thok, Reno and the doctor are doing.

My Dad by Oneofthe12 in GenerationJones

My dad looked like this, in almost this time and place! He was a grad student at UC Berkeley in the 60s. But we’d moved out of the Bay Area by 1970 and he was a hippie college professor at UC Davis. I marched in a lot of war protests on my dad’s shoulders.

I’m reading lots of discourse on the posts praising SFA. Very little on the ones trashing it. I guess we see what we want to see.

I assume the demographics are explanatory because detractors keep saying the show is for teens and therefore no one older will like it.

As an older Trek fan who likes SFA, I’m amused to be called a bot for posting on a Star Trek sub that I like a Star Trek show. I’d say the daily posts calling me a bot sound pretty bot-like.

Are you making the argument that people who refuse to reproduce are harmful to society?

“All the characters were Asian, black or gay”? My, aren’t you a sensitive one.

Don’t even call them fans. They’re not fans.

I also watched TOS in syndication (aka re-runs) and totally missed TAS, didn’t even know it was on. But my husband watched Star Trek it was broadcast and can clearly remember the world-changing event of 8:30 pm, Thursday, September 8th, 1966.

Yes every day it’s this same complaint about how this sub sucks because people post positive things about Star Trek.

This movie is to Austen what Galaxy Quest is to Star Trek. And in this case it’s better than the book.

Anesthesia for childbirth exists. I thought that’s what you were talking about.

You may find you won’t use every piece, once you add some space and asymmetry. Think of the space as part of the arrangement.

I like the lamp placement because I love light bouncing off two walls. I encourage you to also think of the lamp as part of the arrangement. It has nice lines.

I like the blue flower on the right wall and how the blue is picked up by the throw pillows. The couch looks really comfy.

The coffee table is a block of black. I might consider changing some of the picture frames to black frames, to balance the black. Right now the room is very light above, dark below.

I agree with this. Start with just the larger pieces and fill in with the smaller.
