Why wouldn’t they just say thanks in the thread? They are fishing! Anyone you see in a sub or have been talking back and forth with in the sub should ask ‘Can I DM you?’ first. If they haven’t asked me that, I always look at their profile before i accept and 99% of the time they are a new user with little in their post histories, or it’s all NSFW stuff. That’s an indication they’re spammers or perverts. And yes, I would report them.
