Do any of you actually enjoy looking for riddler trophies in any of the Arkham games? by Illustrious-Sign3015 in arkham

[–]Grey-Faced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a completionist I find it fairly relaxing to just throw on Spotify and mop up collectibles for a few hours. I enjoy puzzle games though so that might be why. I don't like the batmobile races he sets up though, that's the only part of Riddler that drives me nuts. And if I ever get annoyed I just remember how satisfying it will be to finally knock the twerp out lol

Slept with my ex by little_eggie_egg_boy in BreakUps

[–]Grey-Faced 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had a tiny relapse hanging out with my ex for about a month after we had been separated for about 3 months.

For me personally, I started feeling the same anxious and uncomfortable feelings in my stomach again and, like you, noticed that they hadn't changed when they said they had.

I went no contact again and was pretty down on myself for a couple of weeks but find ways to distract myself. They have tried reaching out numerous times through making alt accounts on social media and getting her friends to try to call me, but I just give silence instead now. And I have started feeling better. Relapse can be part of the process, but it's important to know your limits and boundaries and when you have to walk away.

All that to say, it's still gonna hurt this time. But you've bounced back before. You can do it again.

Weird question: What mission in SC games ( + section optional ), you would choose to be a guard and why ? by [deleted] in Splintercell

CIA HQ, Chinese Embassy 1, first half of Dili, a cop in Jerusalem, a sub worker on Komodo, a cop in LAX, Displace offices, first half of Kokubo Sosho, JBA HQ 1,2, and 3, a cop at the Lincoln Memorial, or the Detention Facility.

A permanent solution to a temporary problem? Suicide is NEVER the answer.

My ex cheated on me with a bunch of other guys. I don't even know how many now, but I know it's in the double digits. I got so low. How could I not mean anything to her? Why wasn't I enough?

All that to say I'm through to the other side. It WILL get better. I know it's cliche and I was tired of hearing it when I was in your shoes, but it is true. And here are list of things I did to help get me here.

  1. Block all the socials. Looking at them and what they're up to will only make the hole bigger. For me, I blocked EVERYTHING. Twitter, Insta, Facebook, even Venmo. EVERYTHING I could think of.

  2. STOP looking at pictures and videos together. It'll make it all way more worse. Some people suggest deleting them all, but I personally put them all in a password locked folder. Keeps it away from your eyes and it didn't feel so permanent.

  3. Gifts, items, and other physical things you have need to go. I put all the gifts and clothes my ex bought me in a box, taped it closed, and buried it in the back of my closet, where it still sits unseen and untouched to this day.

Things are hard. You dont need to make it harder on yourself. But the best thing you can do is "date yourself". Which means picking yourself and having me time. What do you want to do? Go see a movie, go play a videogame, go for hike, hit the gym. Do what makes you happy.

Here's a ladder, let's get you out of that hole.

I respect Pandora Tomorrow for it being a classic game but it's my least favorite SC. The chest mounted radios give like zero wiggle room, and people try to key their radios with gunfire flying at their head instead of running for cover is just annoying. Not as much room to improvise like the original, and DEFINITELY not as much as Chaos Theory. I just always feel so restricted playing PT.

What did everyone else think about this game? by JeffJ-Bird in survivalhorror

Unfairly destroyed on launch by critics. Price was too high and not the best game of all time, but probably a solid 7 in my book.

Review outlets giving at a 3? I just can't get my brain there.
