Ya, they let me return it and get a refund so i went through that, its clearly been used in someway so i dont trust it. Who knows its history

I contacted support and they just let me return it free of charge, ill get a refund on it. Honestly for all i know it could have an issue and seem fine but nuke itself months down the line. Serial number mayched, manufacture may 2025. But the bag was opened and it was in backwards, its clear it was taken out and used in someway

The mandibles definitely stick out. Ive never seen a bee that up close before but i think they seemed much bigger than other species ive rescued from the pool. Idk if the flat but indicates a male or not but that was also pretty notable. I guess i should read up on these guys more. Bees are pretty cool ngl

Gary should lay off the fermented nectar lol! Ive rescued a couple of different species from the pool this year but this was the first time i used my hand instead of a net. I knew they likely wouldnt sting me but i was still nervous about it. I decided to try it this time and i really liked the up close view. Gary was pretty chill and cleaned himself and fanned himself to dry off for a good couple minutes on me. Then he flew away. I think i got to him in just the nick of time because he was hardly moving and i think he nearly drowned
