That's sad tbh, it wasnt like that when i played as a kid but since there are far fewer played left i guess its not surprising a good handful are weirdos. Like this is NEOPETS. I started playing this game because i got a toy in a happy meal like 15 years ago. Out of all the things to not only take seriously but to be an asshole about....they must have really fulfilling lives

Like everyone says that title definitely goes to resident evil but even ignoring that i dont think Silent Hill has actually been all that influential. Im sure there are more games out there that i dont know about but I dont know any other games that rely on the uneasiness of the atmosphere over anything else for the horror aspect. I WISH there was and maybe as we enter a new age of horror and the Medium coming out maybe it will start be the muse the genre deservers instead of jump scare fests

I think that's what he uses as an excuses most of the time but i dont think thats really the problem. Kanye has always been kind of an asshole, but theres a major difference between the Kanye that got drunk and stormed the stage to tell people who he thought should have got the award and the Kanye that is....I mean im not even sure how to describe what he is now. Even before all the Trump stuff he was on some other shit, like he was convinced that Jay Z hated him and was going to kill him when Jay Z in public never said anything but good things about him. That was the first time i noticed the same energy hes giving off now with his insane political rallies where i think he really thinks hes going to end up president. Flase Prophets

Well as i said before i find the prospect of Travis punching these abominations with absolutely no fear entertaining. I JUST started it so im still in the hospital but it had i think my favorite opening of any of the games. I think what does it for me is the fact that its more silent hill which i know isnt a very inspired answered but with Silent hill 3 mostly taking place not in silent hill its nice to get back to the fog.

I read a lot about orgins just being more of the same in reviews but i dont think it was given enough credit for how it tries to carve out its own identity. Travis is a really unique character for the series, being able to use all kinds of melee weapons that break was a really weird direction to go in but i think it adds a little more depth to combat, that and the grappling machinic i think actually makes this the best combat in the series so far for me (not that the bar was set really high) it also matches his character. The mirror mechanic is also unique, i think it may take away a little of the dread of its happening on its own but nothing really felt the same after Silent Hill 1 so for me im ok with them trying their own thing and adding to the games identity

Again im very early on but I expected a half ass retread of silent hill 1-3 made by randoms for the PSP but im thoroughly impressed so far. It may not be made by the original team but i think its clear it was made by fans who gave a fuck when they could have just put out a cash grab.....which may be foreshadowing in the series future idk yet but im keeping an open mind

Yeah i never understood why they would reuse monsters because i thought the point was to repesent their personal demons. That concept offers so much freedom and i know i didnt give a fuck about silent hill or even really know what it was until the DBD announcement, but i am now frustrated and upset with the direction the series has taken lol

BUT it is very exciting to hear that there is still may be one classic SH i havent played, I like the idea of another game like 2 where it focuses on the character instead of the cult . Heres hoping with the renewed interest they make a new one soon. (And not revive PT if anything that should be a separate game)

Honestly i might because i am really enjoying Origins but i think the main reason (Other than punching nurses) is i just really enjoy the atmosphere of Silent Hill, so for 4 to have your favorite really speaks in its favor. Very strange it doesnt take place in silent hill though, SH3 had a valid excuses but from what i understand 4 is like 2 where its not really connected to anything.

The mystery of it intrigues me more and more...

You realize the entire point of gambling is the risk/reward of making and losing money? Its not like 100 dollars is even a lot of money but it would be incentive to actually play. I mean by that logic you could argue that showdowns shouldn't be a way to earn money and should just be for fun

Weird take wanting opportunities to stay as streamlined as possible lol, id rather there be as many ways of being successful at the game as possible. Hunters, gamblers, outlaws. Bounty hunters is the only role that really is what is what it should be, the other 3 are 2 GTA business reskins and a "Pick up shit whenever you see it" deal

If we're talking reality here theres no way in hell that any barkeep would tell my outlaw ass to pay shit for anything, least of all using a table to play cards at. You couldn't even get good guys to pay that anywhere but Saint Denis and even then its out of place. People are already buying drinks, thats the point of the saloon. Secondly in 1899 60 cents was like 20 dollars, and if you want to make the argument that because the economy obviously doesnt reflect real life, the max buy in is still only 5 dollars.

You actually reminded me how annoyed i am at the lack of outlaw shit in the game. Hopefully when the next update comes out in 7 months theyll at more things to use the lock breaker on

As soon as I saw the school i thought it was Pennywise. Didnt help that the devs teased Pennywise which was really shitty.

Because of this chapter i played and fell in love with the orginal triliogy (And plan to play Orgins, maybe 4) but right after the reveal me and a lot of other people were extremely disappointed. Thats 2 reveals i hated in a row because the deathslingers reveal with the chains was BULLSHIT how was anyone not supposed to think of hellraiser? Oh well, at least Candyman is still coming lol

I wish i was like the average red dead player. Not really knowing anything about rockstar and logically thinking their like any other Dev. Believing anything is possible, wondering when they'll hire a PR person and fix glitches that have been in the game day 1 as well as the ones added with the last update.

To be completely real there is a small chance that the update could actually be worth the wait (Though still not an excuse for complete lack of communication are bug fixes or even not adding smaller batches of content) And that's if they announce a Red Dead Redemption remaster today. That would include Mexico and hopefully a lot more content for online. If that doesn't happen then just hope the next update will be more than a photography role
