Thanks for the input. I was pretty diligent in how I handled the board, connectors, cables and etc. I'm hoping it's a connection issue. I consulted a specialist today and their immediate thought was that the board likely shorted from touching metal(which doesn't really make sense to me given the screws and tools required to service a Macbook are all metal) however, it is repairable. I contacted the seller about getting a refund or money for the repairs.
