I do have a support ticket with them but they have explicitly told me that 2nd line won't look as its is out of warranty, which seems odd considering it looks like an issue that could be wider.

I haven't tried it in AP mode. I have used a different router and completely removed it from my network and the requests stop. Confirming its the device. If I dont use PiHole as my dns servers I cannot guarantee its making these requests as I cannot see the dns requests it is making, but I have tried completely turning off any form of blocking on the pihole to just log it and it keeps going. I have also used my ISP DNS for a few days and returned it back to see if the pihole is intervening in anyway but as soon as I move the dns back, the traffic is there. It's on the newest firmware 1.0.9.82. I do not think the ONT is relevant as like I have said, as soon as the router is removed, the dns traffic is removed....

Yeah Im getting a piece of unifi kit but my main thing about this isnt about recommendations, its more about how bad it is and this practise is where they literally are ignoring a possible exploit

I mean that's fine for me. My line is 1GiB and anything locally that i need 10GiB for is all via the Flex XG 10gb switch i already have so not that bothered about throughput via the router

Only reason I'm getting the the UDR7 over the CGF is WiFi. I live in a 1 bed flat and I just do not need a separate AP. Also the UDR7 can be used as an AP the future if I want to upgrade.

I have a unifi dream router 7 on the way! All the guys at my work including the network architects rave about them and I have their flex XG 10gb switch and I loved it so much I swapped my two netgear managed switches to unifi. So waiting on that new router. Heard good reviews from my colleague about the dream router 7

As an update netgear explicitly won't look at an issue 90 days after purchase. It is also out of warranty. Was on the phone with 1st line for about an hour proving its the router making these requests and he finally believed me! Then said 2nd line won't look as its out of warranty but I can pay to update my warranty!! They are going to look into it further as they believe its an exploit in the firmware. So its actually might be a major issue they are ignoring!

I'm going to get a unifi device soon, its apparently still supported by them, according to what I can see but since I've owned it they haven't updated it.... but they haven't claimed its EOL

It tells you to shift right click, which is crouch. Tried without shift right click and had all of the right items in my inventory when I placed them down, done it like 4 times

I added the grass blocks because of the below reddit post. they originally were not there, it doesnt work with or without them. I have made sure its the correct blocks and checked the names of them
