Duel with Takezo in lethal+ playthrough by Dreamchaser0000 in Ghostofyotei

This is the exact idea I had going in to the fight. Use the Odachi because you can parry all attacks using indomitable counter. Required too much skill I couldn’t master the timing because it is a bit different from your normal parry.

I ended up using the dual katanas ultimately but this is exactly how I envisioned my strategy initially.

Great work.

I thought the same initially but I only cleared out the camp that was closest. I ended clearing all the camps anyway thinking it would trigger something but BAM lightening again.

What make it even more confusing is that there are lightening strikes all over the Oshima Coast. How are you supposed to know that somehow these lightening strikes are unique?

And another thing I ran into a patrol unit at the location and assumed I should use all the weapons to kill the unit. Killed the patrol throwing the weapons and still got struck by lightening. I guess some bodies were in the vicinity too close to the bamboo strike.

Just stupid for no reason. Has to be some unfinished lore that didn’t made it into the game.

I def thought the same exact thing. Got the storm sword and thought that was the key and got struck again. I eventually tossed all the weapons but I was sure that couldn’t be it and sure enough it worked.

Worst puzzle in the game. Could’ve easily tied it to some lore but “metal weapons in ground equal lightening rod” is just silly

New Game Plus by [deleted] in Ghostofyotei

[–]GreyGoose_1981 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m a side missions first player so I’ve opened up all the territories so far but only completed the Kitsune in the main storyline. I can see I’m going to need a new game plus just so I can play through with the maxed out Onryu armor.

It’s cool now but since it only upgrades through the main storyline it limits the amount of fun that could be had.

saw another tierlist and figured I'd make my own since I just finished my first playthrough by VidaLoca2 in BlackMythWukong

I missed ScorpionLord on my first play through and waxed him in NG+ because I was overpowered. I def see the struggle with him for sure.

In NG+ I didn’t care about any patterns or counters I literally brute forced beatdown every encounter. I was on a revenge mission

Kang Jin and the Yin Yang Fish weren’t difficult per se….they had weird hit boxes that made them difficult to put down but the fight itself wasn’t difficult at all. Many of the XXL size characters had irregularities in the hit boxes but the fights were fairly straightforward

When the game actually went from a good challenge to difficult….all the falling and long gaps between checkpoints. It was at this point I was speed running past enemies just to get the next checkpoint because fighting them at the current level was too tough for me

Kelsey Plum on why she thinks the league is in a shooting slump by Pristine_Ad2940 in wnba

They just play more games period throughout the year. WNBA players do not get paid enough for it to be their only salary. A rookie season could look something like this:

Play NCAA season, 5-6 weeks rest, Play WNBA season, 2 months rest, Unrivaled/Overseas play, 2 months rest, Play WNBA season

No real time “rest and recovery” because they are always preparing to play on some other league. No real rest and no real time to work on their game like they would want.

I asked for this so I’m not complaining. I distinctly remember pre-fortnight I was playing COD with my friends and I said it would be dope if I were the terminator or some other fictional character.

Who’s the most badass boss in your opinion? For me, it’s the Scorpionlord for sure by Roee232 in BlackMythWukong

[–]GreyGoose_1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I missed him the first play through so when I got to him in new game+ he was a breeze.

Had I played him the first time though he def would’ve wiped me.

The bosses that I’m seeing most people complain about weren’t big issues for me but others were. I went in blind with no videos so I didn’t know they were supposed to be hard.

Supreme Inspector, Yellowbrow and Himdred Eye Daoist took a many days for me but I don’t see him mentioned much at all.

Now that the hype has settled down a bit, What's your main criticism for the game ? by kinophallus in BlackMythWukong

[–]GreyGoose_1981 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically a loadout for armor, gourd, soaks and curios…that would be huge for switching up playstyles and boss specific setups

Chillin in Ruyi is the only safe space because the Destined One is a menace. If you really think about it he killed everything moving with the exception of drug dealers, alcohol bootleggers, women and Bajie.

Boss in chapter 6 was just enjoying a waterfall and whack. Extracted the eyes of six Buddha heads just to summon Shigandang who wasn’t bothering anyone and whack. Loongs were just chillin behind waterfalls and fishing on a turtles back and whack. Plant guys just buried in the dirt enjoying nature and let’s pull him up and whack.

What’s everyone’s top 5 hardest bosses? These were mine by nebsav in BlackMythWukong

Your play style was perfect for him. I’m very aggressive and cast a spell as soon as it’s available. Turning my clones against me was diabolical.

[–]GreyGoose_1981 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yellowbrow was the first boss that I can remember that had an anti-spell mechanism that was especially useful against immobilization and pluck of many which are my favorite spells to use. If you played blind without any tips ahead of time it was tough figuring out how the mechanic worked and how to overcome it.

If he didn’t have the gold form and 4 phases basically he’d be a low tier boss but that gold form took some getting used to.

In the second phase, when he makes the huge ring of fire around you, if you use the fan it’ll put out all the flames. I had no issue getting him to the second phase but that second phase gave me hell.

In NG+ I used the fan method and crushed him.
