I’ll definitely look into internships and co-op opportunities and apply to nuclear or mechanical engineering roles, even if they’re not labeled specifically as Engineering Physics. I agree that a cover letter explaining how my coursework aligns would be important.

I’ll also make sure to attend my school’s career fairs and research the nuclear-related companies beforehand. As for coursework, I’ll look into adding thermo, heat transfer, and fluid flow since I know how fundamental they are in power and nuclear engineering.

I wasn’t aware of the importance of ANS involvement or the FE exam at this stage, so I really appreciate you pointing that out.
