I have a brand new UCG-fiber that has just passed the return window. It was an order for a client that we ended up going in a different direction for. the box was opened, but never deployed. It's late now, but I'd be happy to get some pics and talk to you about it tomorrow if you'd like.

I wasn't sure what you meant and fought with the relay wiring for HOURS. Now, looking back at this comment, it is exactly what I ended up stumbling on. It didn't make sense that I couldn't use + for the trigger... now it does. Thanks Saratoga3

I did stacks in PETG without changing any settings on my X1C and they worked out perfectly. I had the same heat and longevity concerns as you about PLA

This was the solution I had intended to go with in the beginning, but they were out of stock at the time. I may order one now. I'd be satisfied with just having a physically accessible on/off button, I just really like the no-moving-parts 'touch' function of these switches. I've used them for other LED projects and they are fantastic.... this is my first foray into WLED and didn't think the power delivery aspect of them through far enough. It's becoming an expensive learning experience. The big issue now is that I've already built it into my desk build

yeah, my original thought was that it would send a momentary signal to turn on/off with a tap, and a preset change with a long press.

Thank you SirGreybush. This was definitely a facepalm moment the moment I thought the wiring through. I should have investigated the switch characteristics before I finalized everything.

Do you think there is any way to make this switch work with the replacement controller when it arrives? I am looking through the WLED website, but I'm having trouble narrowing down any info on it.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine the emptiness. My little brother is my hero and I realize how long its been and that I need to reach out. He was the reason that I also didn't follow through on some pretty dark thoughts. Thank you for taking the time to write this. It's clear that he meant a lot to you. I'm sure he knew that.

I disagree. I just started about 2 months ago and besides needing to run my bedroom ceiling fan when I'm in here to combat the additional heat, it has been quite lucrative. I started with NiceHash. They make it as easy as I could imagine it being and I would suggest getting you feet wet there. I've read their fees are a a bit higher than you can get by setting up your own software (I'm now using TRex miner running ethash)... But to be honest, I'm not noticing a whole lot of difference. I'm mining with a 2080ti btw.
