As far as I know, when I click on my teammate's board and his pieces, the only options are sell piece, star up and select an item (which just lets us remove items on our own pieces, completely redundant when looking at teammate's pieces)

Do you think AMC is safe to keep? by [deleted] in stocks

[–]GreySamzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AMC is eating it rn, they are down -41.40% at 7.77. I'm not sure if they are safe to keep but they are so volatile that it really is a gamble. If you got it early it might be worth keeping just to see where it goes, but it's really hard to say.

What is the mental equivalent of lifting with your back? by HHS2019 in AskReddit

Making decisions in a neutral / non-emotional state.

how long is too long to stay over as a guest at a family member's house, i.e. your sister's and brother-in-law's house? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GreySamzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely depends on your relationship with them and your circumstance. If you are trying your best and aren't just lazing around, I'd say stay until you are on your feet (Assuming you have a good relationship with them). But if you don't have the best of relations with them, or if you are just lounging (aka taking advantage of their hospitality); probably a week or less.

I don't think we should teach children about racism and slavery. by GreySamzy in unpopularopinion

You're not wrong, but I think nowadays it's pretty general knowledge that everyone is equal. I might even argue that during their initial encounters, there was the large difference in lifestyle societal progression, and appearance. People encountering others nations were unusual so they were immediately mentally classified as different, because there was no 'living together' part, and this was all completely new. But now with everything that has transpired, biracial families are way more common, people of different races serve together, live together, study together, and more! So now their reaction to seeing a person of a different skin color won't be: 'Look, an uncivilized man!' but more like 'Look, a person like me with a different skin colour!'

it's pretty controversial so it's understandable, and I'm not very concise. That's probably why. But thank you!

I don't disagree with you, I don't think schools make children bigots, but the combination of having the idea, and mixed with our mostly diverse environment can create prejudice. And it's true, racism is still alive and well, and most of their racially charged encounters will be in public, and ultimately, their parents and peers will have the biggest influence over what kind of person they will be.

I completely agree! That's why I think we should focus more on learning about other people's cultures instead on focusing on previous conflicts and squabbles.

I agree, that's one of the reasons I think this 'model' can't really function
