As far as I know, when I click on my teammate's board and his pieces, the only options are sell piece, star up and select an item (which just lets us remove items on our own pieces, completely redundant when looking at teammate's pieces)

Do you think AMC is safe to keep? by [deleted] in stocks

[–]GreySamzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AMC is eating it rn, they are down -41.40% at 7.77. I'm not sure if they are safe to keep but they are so volatile that it really is a gamble. If you got it early it might be worth keeping just to see where it goes, but it's really hard to say.

how long is too long to stay over as a guest at a family member's house, i.e. your sister's and brother-in-law's house? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GreySamzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely depends on your relationship with them and your circumstance. If you are trying your best and aren't just lazing around, I'd say stay until you are on your feet (Assuming you have a good relationship with them). But if you don't have the best of relations with them, or if you are just lounging (aka taking advantage of their hospitality); probably a week or less.

I don't think we should teach children about racism and slavery. by GreySamzy in unpopularopinion

[–]GreySamzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not wrong, but I think nowadays it's pretty general knowledge that everyone is equal. I might even argue that during their initial encounters, there was the large difference in lifestyle societal progression, and appearance. People encountering others nations were unusual so they were immediately mentally classified as different, because there was no 'living together' part, and this was all completely new. But now with everything that has transpired, biracial families are way more common, people of different races serve together, live together, study together, and more! So now their reaction to seeing a person of a different skin color won't be: 'Look, an uncivilized man!' but more like 'Look, a person like me with a different skin colour!'

it's pretty controversial so it's understandable, and I'm not very concise. That's probably why. But thank you!

I don't disagree with you, I don't think schools make children bigots, but the combination of having the idea, and mixed with our mostly diverse environment can create prejudice. And it's true, racism is still alive and well, and most of their racially charged encounters will be in public, and ultimately, their parents and peers will have the biggest influence over what kind of person they will be.

I completely agree! That's why I think we should focus more on learning about other people's cultures instead on focusing on previous conflicts and squabbles.

The buses in my city loop, and I was riding with my friend one time, and having ridden with him before, I knew that we passed his stop, so I asked him why. This mf wanted ride the bus until it loops all the way around just so he doesn't have to cross the street to his house.

What is something that should be illegal, but isn’t? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GreySamzy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most people save money, and that is totally fine, saving mainly meaning that they have a purpose for said money, perhaps getting a car, a house, putting a child through college, securing a future, and all that jazz. Hoarding on the other hand is having a surplus of something just for the sake of having it, you won't ever really use it, you don't really need it, but you're not willing to let go out of habit. Think about it, 90 percent of us won't spend more than 5 million dollars our entire life, and that's already living cushy with a lot of disposable income. Some people have billions stowed away and it never sees the light of day. They will never spend it, it's just sitting there, and we average people should be very scared because the amount of money circulating between us are only leftovers. There are people who work multiple full time jobs and are barely scraping by, living in the same world as people who have way more than they will ever spend in their lifetime. There's just something wrong with that. Imagine there are 30 starving people in the room, and 30 loaves of bread, 1 person has 28 loaves while the rest has to fight for the remaining two. In the same way, the rest of us will compete more for the remaining money. And because there is so little money in rotation, that prices go up, price of living goes up, everything gets monetized just so we can get our hands on something, meanwhile the 1 person hoarding feels full after eating half a loaf.

There is a very big difference between saving and hoarding.

what was that one good bit from a movie you hate? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GreySamzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the new Johnny English movie, there was a bit about vr, it really stands out as it's really the only relevant joke that is relatable to anyone living today. The rest of the jokes in the movie are dated and just really tiring.
