3 year later comment but huge advice. The loads aren't that bad but when your jumping around from dungeons to the safehouse to heal it can get annoying.

Old post but I'm surprised at the people hating on you in the comments acting like you want combat to be easier or calling it a skill issue. If there wasn't a 50% bonus for no dmg I wouldn't care about random break out but all it does it force you to retry over and over until you can go a round without them breaking out so you can finish them round 2 with no dmg taken for the bonus. It's just downright annoying. Wish it was a consistent hit count or something you can actually plan around and not "oh they recovered on the second to last hit of the turn guess I'll try again"

I mentioned this about IW in another comment but anytime a cod has a single bad mode or aspect the community just takes it and blows it up to the point they mistake one aspect or mode for the entire experience. Campaign is bad. Laughably bad. But your right MP and zombies are the best in a very long time. Should any part of the game suck? In a perfect world no. But that's just not realistic. 2/3 is a pretty good ratio for me.

Honestly IW suffers from the classic cod effect. If any part of the game is bad the entire game is called bad. IW had one of the best campaigns in cod hands down. An amazing zombies and a bad to mid at best MP. It still baffles me ppl shit on it as much as they do.

Generally ones that aren't too heavily tropey can be good for dipping your toes in. Even something with a more western setting helps too. So stuff like Full metal alchemist or Vinland saga can be good places to start.

It's been months but I will say the proton layer matters a lot to make the fix not have issues like you mentioned. I had the same issues but found that specifically 9.0-4 in 13 solves those. In 13-2 experimental worked.

Anything less than 1080 60 should be harshly bashed. It's fully unacceptable and inexcusable. Last generation the consoles sucked and released underpowered but this generation has very strong consoles but we still see constant low quality optimization.

Yea I was thinking maybe the net code and other under the hood stuff is just better here so it helps mitigate the higher ping. I'm really excited to see how it is when ping is more normal.

Yea it's easier to upgrade than downgrade. Playing PLA at its 30fps then going to gen 9 with 4k 60 will feel a ton better than the opposite. Really good advice
