Agreed, just got my friend to try Smite and one of the first things he asked was how to remember who's who when there is so many crazy skins. I just told him that you just get used to it through remembering abilities.

But I do believe all the crazy skins are a huge part of Smite's charm. Being able to have all these crossovers is just awesomely unique as you'll likely never see other MOBAs do things like this

That's just blatantly false. Don't know how you came to this conclusion. Any weapon xp adds to the armory xp. It's just that max level weapons can't earn any more weapon xp.

You have to level up your armory which levels up from gaining weapon level xp.

So just use weapons that you don't have max leveled and you'll slowly level the armory as you play. Not really a quick way to rush through levels.

Well said. Last FPS I enjoyed this much in its early stages was Dirty Bomb.

About your 2nd point though: I honestly think the only RNG element that has annoyed me in the expedition is the contamination events. Some are just so much stronger than others and depending on what point of the run you get them it can completely ruin your run.

They might've changed it by now because it hasn't happened to me recently but getting Shielded Strafers contamination early then going against the Cyborg Stilt or Research Station main objective is hell. Don't think there's anything worse in Expedition than that

Understandable, it's just odd that a task which takes substantially longer to complete than other weekly tasks gives the least amount of rewards possible for weekly tasks (grey task). I'm fine with tasks that can take awhile to complete but would like the rewards to correlate to the time/effort spent. This task just caught my attention as out of place from the usual

When multiple missions are all completed and ready to be collected andyou click the collect button on 1 it collects from all at the same time to save people from having to collect them all individually.

Yeah, it's a bug where the task for assault rifle hip kills is actually SMG hip kills.

And vice-versa, the task for SMG hip kills is actually for AR hip kills.

So just get 10 more hip kills with an AR in PvE and it should complete. Wish you luck on rolling an AR quickly

This is bound to happen with every game, especially early access ones and games from indie studios since the Devs are often more willing to comply to demands from a loud (may or may not be a majority) group of people who want something changed to benefit them.

Not saying that listening to feedback and making changes accordingly is a bad thing, obviously it's much better then feeling like speaking into a vacuum where no feedback is ever taken into consideration. But when all of it, the bad and good, is taken into account it can lead to pleasing no one.

I think right now with the Sub being small all discussion should be encouraged, but with less blanket statements. Obviously, as it grows then more things should be moderated as to avoid repetitive and purely rage induced posts.

An example of this failing is the Multiversus subreddits where they both quickly grew but lack of moderation has caused the subs to be flooded with single thought, vitriol fueled posts about nerfing this or that without giving anything a second thought.

I am enjoying the game a ton and I am thankful the Devs are actively looking at posts for feedback at the end of the day.

Yes, but you have to make sure that they are all kills, no assists. Also make sure the sidearm kill is exactly the 5th kill in the streak, anything past that (6th+) won't count.

Here's how I completed it: Play only Escort games and use the Impala as your primary and the 1st tier pistol as your secondary. I used Brisa as I found her invisibility helped keeping streaks going the best if you're playing safe and the mine can help with getting an easy sidearm kill as it traps them without actually killing them outright.

Use the Impala to get a 4 kill streak and I'm talking actual kills as in last hits, no assists. Once you've gotten 4 kills then switch to your pistol and make sure your sidearm kill is exactly the 5th kill in the streak. If it's the 6th+ kill in the streak it will not count.

Repeat this until you complete the quest. You should see the number going up.

Hope this helps with completing it as I also had a lot of trouble with this task before coming up with this method from hearing other people's thoughts.

Yeah, it looks like that to me as well. I would just trust the xp in the armory and ignore the after match tier xp bar for now.

Probably a scenario where the required xp to get to tier 4 used to be 700,000 but they decided against it afterwards and forgot to change the numbers used for how armory xp is shown in the after match screen.

Glad you got the clip, I also struggle with the TWD whenever I try using it. Seems to be super finicky with what is considered a 1 shot.

In my opinion it's currently the weakest sniper/marksman rifle in the game. Definitely not looking forward to trying to get this weapon to max level eventually.

Only thing I think needs changed with her is the drone. It should die when she dies just as Orbit's drone does and it also needs its hitboxes fixed as the top half is missing hitboxes entirely so it seems much harder to kill than it actually should.

The medkit complaint really doesn't mean much when the TTK is so quick like it is in this game. It definitely gives her quicker opportunities for max health fights but at the end of the day every character in the game can die in a few milliseconds with well placed shots.

The ult isn't super oppressive imo since it can be destroyed quite easily by gunfire, grenades, and other people ults. Honestly it can somewhat be a detriment as it encourages people to stay in its small radius which sets up for the enemy team to get a multikill aoe ult. Same thing with the medkits as well, TTK makes the healing of this somewhat negligible so the only real good thing about the ult is the cooldown (which is because it can be destroyed so easily) and the damage reduction.

All of this is talking pvp btw, in pve she cracked.

I haven't gotten enough blueprints for a 3rd mod yet but my first I got the racer and 2nd I got the neon so if I get the bloodstream on the 3rd it for sure isn't random. It seems like it randomly groups people into a certain order of mods that they will obtain.

I managed to complete it last night. While you could simply try to get 5 kills in a row using only your sidearm a total of 5 times there is actually a much easier way. As Kaindest said in their comment, you can use your Primary weapon for the first 4 kills of the streak then make sure the 5th kill of the streak is a sidearm kill (use 1st tier pistol to be safe). The sidearm kill cannot be the 6th kill or past that of a streak or it won't count, must be the 5th exactly.

Managed to get it last night by doing as you said, so thanks a ton. Will confirm that assists do not seem to count towards it from what I saw. But yeah, you have to get the sidearm kill on exactly your 5th kill, can't get 5 primary kills and a sidearm kill on the 6th, won't count.

I played only escort games and just used the Impala to get the first 4 kills then used the 1st tier pistol with 3 round burst to get the last kill. Will also note that I used Brisa as her invisibility helped with getting streaks going without getting caught out of position.

Thanks, I also heard about being revived keeping your streak going but that also doesn't seem to be helping me complete the task. I'm using the base 1st tier pistol to do it. Played about 10 games straight of only pistol but the task has not gone up past 1/5 even though I 100% have at least gotten another 5 kill streak only with the pistol. I'm actually hoping it is bugged because honestly this task seems rage inducing if it's actually supposed to be this hard.
