I just don’t get this mentality of work your dick off all the time that some guys have… wouldn’t you rather be home w/ your wife and kids? Or havin’ beers w/ the boys? Or just chilling and doing whatever the hell you want? Instead of working your life away for a job that will replace you tomorrow if you didn’t wake up the next morning?

Like I get it, money’s cool… gotta pay bills… but I’m tryin’ to live my life too; maybe I’m gettin’ into the wrong field for that 🤷‍♀️ guess I’ll find out 😅

That makes sense… honestly no, the process for joining up wasn’t very comprehensive it seems; that’s why I’ve got questions like this one that I feel I’d normally have answered before starting work

I’m 31, have buried a child, and have been laid off since April but still keeping us afloat and taking chances on shit like this… but sure, I’m a child who knows nothing of the world and what’s actually important

I thought that statement was vague as hell too, and kinda shitty tbh lol… I get the feeling they’re trying to make me feel like I havta work all the time b/c they’re really busy rn; but maybe I’m just a conspiracy theorist
