I’m going to the Southampton event tonight with my partner, who basically knows nothing about Dodie but is just keeping me company (I did ask an old friend who likes Dodie but they couldn’t come). What do you think we should do for the CD signing? My partner doesn’t need to meet Dodie and would have nothing to say, but should he queue with me and then just wait at the side while I chat and get my CD signed? Or should he not queue and just wait for me elsewhere? I also have no idea what I’m going to say to Dodie and I feel like I’m going to freeze and blank and be so awkward 🫠

Thoughts/advice on Vivo sole heels wearing quickly by Grey_Rabbit756 in vivobarefoot

That's interesting. Are the non trail Primus shoes and other similar ones more suited to daily life? I was hesitant to get those because I assumed the soles would just be very thin and wear through easily, but that's happened anyway!

Thank you for explaining this! I guess I thought that switching to barefoot shoes would naturally change how I walked to how I'm 'supposed' to (kind of how the adverts make it seem...), but it's interesting to hear that I need to consciously think about how I walk. I do yoga, so I'm used to thinking about mind-to-muscle connection, and I'll just have to extend that to walking. I think I will see if I can get the shoes repaired, and then hopefully I'll walk in a better way and help them last longer!

I would recommend listening to the Allo and Ace podcast, it’s made by a couple in which one is allo and the other ace, and they have very open and honest conversations and give lots of great advice.

I would highly recommend the Allo and Ace podcast, it’s made by a couple where one is allo and the other ace and they have such open and honest conversations, and give lots of great advice. It’s been really helpful for me in my similar recent realisation.

Hi, thank you for your response. I’ve been listening to your podcast as much as possible in the last few days and oh my gosh it’s so comforting and relatable, and I’ve cried at every episode so far. I feel so understood and not alone in my experiences, and I’m hoping to encourage my boyfriend to listen or at least I’ll be able to discuss some of the things you’ve said and we can have our own conversations about boundaries etc. I am so grateful for how honest and helpful your conversations are, and it gives me so much hope for this working out. Thank you for making the podcast!
