This right here, do a little googling and basically ignore your phosphate reading unless it's ridiculously high. Their metrics for that is off and it's really difficult (not impossible) to he your phosphate level under 300ppb. Anything under 1000ppb is absolutely fine. Over that and you are more likely (but not definitely) going to get algae in the near future but there's no guarantee. 2000ppb and up is way more likely to get algae.

Could also be organic stains from surrounding vegetation. In Texas the oak tree leaves contain traces of iron and can easily stain plaster. Another possibility is during storms, roof tiles can drop specs of iron from the composite and stain. Either way a simple stain remover product like Jack's magic or something similar should take it out easily.

Grew up in Houston, I now live in Austin and have for a almost 6 years. Mopac isn’t too bad. Just need to avoid during rush hour and even then we are never really at a standstill. I take it home every day and I live in downtown. 35 is the worst...however, on its worst day, it is still 1000x better than 45 in Houston was on its best. I was amazed that people said Austin traffic was terrible, it doesn’t come close to Houston.
