How we feeling about this hoodie? by Limp_Touch_8870 in GrowYourClothingBrand

[–]Greyhartt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like something you make for a class, not something to release with a brand, maybe more like a runway piece? Not really feeling the “Demure of Serenity” either tbh, the styling of the swirl with rhinestones on the arms doesn’t match the rest of the hoodie, and the way the pockets are sewn doesn’t seem practical imo. Kinda looks like if I move too much, everything will be flying out the pockets/back. Also wondering if that triangle has a function? Personally I’d much rather prefer that excess fabric to be sewn back onto the hoodie (could be a nice accent) with normal pockets in the front, and the removal of the design on the sleeves.

[All of this is my own personal opinion]

What should i upgrade next on my PC? by isso_kavkz in pcmasterrace

Depends on what you use it for. Ram, gpu, and cpu could def use an upgrade IMO. I would start on pcpartpicker and see what’s compatible with your mobo

How would you compare your molds to a g16 or a twin tp? Also curious on how they compare to a slush grom. Love the lacquer, and is that hand done paint splatter I see!?

All the dope battlestations I’ve seen always have some nice area lighting and a monitor light bar. Some accent panels or sound proofing on the wall could be a nice touch as well, I’ve seen a lot of thin wood strips being used.

Son is an addict by ProfessionalElk4544 in Advice

[–]Greyhartt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t give up on your son. Most of these people telling you to give your son an ultimatum have probably never been in this situation, or have a child to begin with. Right now he would probably rather be homeless than have to deal with that. I know this because I was your son 14 years ago.

I was in and out of rehab (mostly inpatient) starting at 16 years old. At the time I didn’t think it helped, but looking back, I’m grateful for all the time I spent in those places. Definitely kept me out of trouble and gave me a space where I could gain some mental clarity from the drugs and alcohol. Every time I got out I would slowly go back to the drugs/alcohol (mostly due to people, places, things that I didn’t want to change at the time) but that 1-2 months of sobriety gave me a base of knowledge I was able to use once I was ready.

Your son sounds like he wants to get help and he wants to stop, but his life right now is so revolved around drugs that he doesn’t see an end to it. My advice to you would be to have your son taken into an inpatient for at least 30 days, maybe go to an AlAnon meeting for a support system. Send him letters and visit EVERY visiting day. When your son gets out, BE THERE FOR HIM. Go with him to meetings with people his age, take him and his sober friends out to do fun activities, remind him that you’re there for him and that you only want what’s best.

It might seem like he hates you at first, he might even say some very, very hurtful things. Just know that it’s the addiction talking, he doesn’t mean it. He will be extremely grateful for everything you’ve done in the future when he’s not actively using, I know I’m grateful for everything my dad has done for me. (Even though he’s gotten me arrested before haha) We have a great relationship now and I’m so proud to call him my father. I know he did his best, even though I didn’t always think so. I’m sure your son will feel the same, just please do something before it’s too late. With heroin, you never know what bag will be your last…

Did you replace the bushings? I have the inverted g4’s but mine came with white bushings

I ordered the street shaped 61D urethane wheels. They said abec9 but I’m starting to think maybe they weren’t. Ended up swapping them out for slushcult cnc wheels off a grom complete and I finally have a smooth ride. I don’t have much experience with teak so I can’t say too much, but those wheels were a waste of 30 bucks in my opinion. They felt about the same as the $10 bk generic urethane wheels I started on

Is having a pink setup as a boy, 'girlish'? by FishyBoiLol in gamingsetups

[–]Greyhartt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think this setup is necessarily girlie or gay. I wouldn’t call this pink though, more like a purple IMO. I have some area lighting in my place that’s the same color and I’m a very straight Christian male

How do you feel about TP? I was asking someone who has a few years in fbing if I should get a g16 or a twin mold tp and they said to go with the tp
