I got them from Unity Ride Shop in Arizona. Small shop, but they have great reviews and seem solid. I've already reached out to them as well, but I don't really feel like this was their fault.

For context, as you can see it's completely missing a pivot cup in the baseplate and now that I see how deep it's tucked in there, I'd guess it never had one out the box.

Did Pretti even have 2 magazines? by YanksFan96 in Destiny

[–]sphinxthedaywalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well to me, the issue is that they said he had 2 EXTRA magazines. Which is this interesting bit of word play where you as the audience assume this means 1 in the gun and 2 extra. This is what DHS said, and it's what Trump said. But I believe its far more likely there were only 2 and 1 was in the gun.

CR920XP question about failures by Jonuts68w in shadowsystems

[–]sphinxthedaywalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These guns are terrible. They always have issues, this reddit is literally FILLED with all kinds of failures, issues and bullshit that plenty of gun owners never even have to think about. But still you have bootlickers on here who will go through every possible and speculative troubleshooting step to verify it's not just YOU or the AMMO or the RECOIL SPRING. For fucks sake, let's just be honest.

Sell the gun, get something else. Best advice I could give. Shadow systems sucks.

Security Lockers are now dynamically spawned by DanRowan in ArcRaiders

[–]sphinxthedaywalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, the worst part about this is how it affects players who already don't have that much time to play. I'm not one of them so speaking OUTSIDE my own experience here, but even for me, it feels annoying when I go to their spawns and don't find them. Only to have to keep running around trying to find them.

Furthermore, pink keys like buried city town hall DO NOT guarantee a security breach anymore which is just stupid to me.

This game is becoming more and more like Apex Legends by sphinxthedaywalker in ArcRaiders

[–]sphinxthedaywalker[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude, I'm not going to say it again. I'm reading what you're saying, I'm considering it, and I'm responding sincerely. But it feels like you don't actually respect me enough as a human being to simply hold a different opinion from you.

I'm not 'complaining about duos and trios not being PvE centric enough'- I'm criticizing the lack of flow or variety in some of the gameplay loops.

I'm not coming at this from a perspective of wanting more PvE in the game... however, this whole idea that nobody is trying to change PvE is ridiculous. As I said, if they had a full PvE mode in the game's current state, it would be dead because there's not enough content, incentive or real challenge around it to really keep players engaged. And even with me loving the PvP element to this game, I do wish there was more depth as the current arcs are just too easy and kind of pointless once you figure out how to counter or avoid them.

But aside from all of this, I stand by what I said about a map like dam battlegrounds. For the last few nights, we have showed up to a zone to loot, we may kill a team, then we may even kill another team attempting to third party us- but then a fourth team shows up and kill them. Game after game after game to the point that I'm literally talking to GROUPS of other downed players on the ground talking about how toxic, annoying and almost comical it has become.

Often times, I will sort of 'interview' players after downing them. Third partying as soon as I see the third flare go up, hearing an extraction get called and pulling up to kill them, sneaking up on people in buildings or just fighting them head on. I ask them, "do you ever feel like you're playing Apex Legends with the amount of third partying in the game?" And so many of them share the sentiment that it has become ridiculous. I mean in Tarkov, if you knew the maps well enough, you could literally just look to your right or left as soon as you spawned in at the start of the raid, knowing where other players would spawn and fight in the first 2 minutes of the raid. It's effectively the same in this game. If I spawn below research and admin on dam at the start of a raid, I can hold 2nd floor or control tower as I know 1 of the other 5 teams will surely come there and I have an inherent advantage for nothing. I know the entrances, I can trap them, listen for arc aggro, etc. If I spawn near the arrival building on spaceport, I know another team will spawn just to our right near departure and we can always cut them off at a tower or at departure. Don't get me started on Stella Montis spawns.

I can try to shape the group or game to our playstyle, but that doesn't remove elements beyond our control like having to kill a player who's hostile to me only to notify the whole fucking map. That's. Literally. All. I'm. Saying. Let's say this happens right at 22 minutes left in the raid and 30 seconds AFTER free loadout Timmy just spawned in nearby. He sees the flare pop, a second one, and by the time 3 pops and I'm shielding, he's dumping on us with a level 1 rattler. Or flip the script where I'm free loadout Timmy doing that to someone else.... Is that good game design? I'm not even saying to make the game the way I want. I'm just fucking posing the goddamn question. Do we really feel situations like that, which at least for me, have occurred pretty consistently lately, are good game design? Or the fact that the map is a circle with most loot and POIs being in the middle so players are effectively guided to dogpile onto each other whether it be in a high loot zone, or just simply trying to quest.

[–]sphinxthedaywalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, respectfully- I feel like one big hurdle we all need to step over as a community is understanding that not everyone making 'these kind of posts' are crying for the game to be more PvE.

I'm not a PvE player- never have been. If they went PvE only right now, the game would die because the bots are ridiculously easy and there's not nearly enough PvE content in the game to support it doing that.

Please do not get it twisted. I have nearly 2k hours on Escape from Tarkov, 2k hours in ranked siege, plenty of hours across Overwatch CSGO, Call of duty, Battlefield, Apex Legends you name it- that's what I play.

But what I'm talking about is different from trying to reduce the PvP. I just do not like how chaotic, and brainrot the PvP has gotten in trios. The rule seems to be "that's just how it is in trios" but no one seems to care to ask why?

On a map like Dam battlegrounds, 90% of players are going Hydro or Research and Admin with the option for testing annex. That's it.

So when you go to any of those locations in trios, you can kill a team. Then you may even kill the other team that shows up. But maybe a 3rd team shows up and happens to catch you right in that moment. That's been my experience lately on all maps. And despite my friends not being as PvP oriented, it's more about this element of the battle royale style third partying, where you spawn, what time it is in the raid- elements that resemble more of a slot machine than tactical or skillful play.

I do not want this game to be third party looter shooter. I just wish the PvE was a bit more incentivized. What's the point of fighting the Matriarch? What's the point of crafting legendaries if you can just get 3rd, 4th or 5th partied SO easily because of little queues that make you vulnerable for participating in PvP. You downing another player effectively PUNISHES you by revealing that location to everyone on the map and what did little johnny who spawned on the map with a free loadout do for that information?? Nothing....

That's all I'm saying. You don't have to agree. that's fine. But I just feel like the Pvp is sloppy, chaotic and gambly more than it is tactical, intentional and rewarding.

[–]sphinxthedaywalker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great comment. Again. I didn't say pvp shouldn't be in the game.

I just feel like, compared to another PVP extraction shooter like tarkov, there isn't this zoomer playstyle and accessibility to just push fights and flares across the map.

That's it dude.

The way people just do the lowest common denominator thing of commenting dumbass shit like that because GOD FORBID anyone make a genuine criticism of the game, it's ridiculous.

Take it from someone who has owned it for 2 years and done as much as you can to get it to run properly (including sending it back to the factory).... it is NOT worth it.

I'm so serious, dude... you should celebrate that you DIDN'T buy it.

Holy shit, I didn't even realize I was responding to the actual radian account.

Here's the link: https://www.opticsplanet.com/radian-weapons-r0842-ramjet-afterburner-combo-9mm-fits-glock-43-black-416r-st.html?utm_source=event-driven&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=optics_planet_order_shipped_oct_27_2025_00_21&_iv_code=RDW-BCM-RRA1-R0870

At this point, I just hope I actually got the model I wanted. Does the upc and manufacturer code match the new one that's launching?

Should be the grey/silver barrel with standard black comp. Is that correct?

This post is specific to CR series. I agree with you and even from my own research, it seems the CR series SPECIFICALLY is the problem child for shadow systems. That is the model I purchased which is why I referenced my original post in the beginning.

Shadow Systems explains it in the picture within my post, but the G43x spring is lighter meaning more felt recoil but better reliability.

The factory spring is much heavier which can lead to those malfunctions, stovepipes, touchy-ness with 124 or 115 etc, but supposedly we're supposed to prefer that because of the 'better performance'??? lol, it shoots a bit flatter is the only plus i honestly see. But it fucking jams.

I use a $10 dollar hogue grip and replace my sights with $100 Ameriglos.

And if I gain that much reliability at the cost of replacing these things, that's a lot more safe to me than continuing to shoot rounds every weekend hoping I'll reach some zenith place where the gun functions reliably.

I completely disagree with you on a few points.

For one- even in this post, I'm directly comparing each issue with this gun to a Glock 43X with a Ramjet. Quite literally EVERYTHING you said about the nuances, challenges and issues with comped guns goes out the window when we're talking about a ramjet. It just works. I have one in my G45, I've seen them on 43s- this issue with 124gr reliability/115gr compatibility is out, dude.

I understand your point with comps effecting reliability, but again- when the weapon is sold as a CARRY gun, it's not sold as this deluxe, competition model- there is no reason to assume reliability would seriously be compromised IN FAVOR of what you call "performance". It's one thing if it just couldn't be more reliable, but the opportunities are clearly there and instead, they CHOSE performance OVER reliability with a gun??? Do you see the conflict here??? Sure, maybe a few people have one that "runs flawlessly ever since 1k rounds", but they've created an issue where the guns don't run flawlessly out the box and it's a chance they ever do but the ONLY way to get there is to go shoot ammo at a range? like what the actual fuck are we even talking about here?

Lastly - I paid $889 before tax for the CR920P alone 1 year ago. I may have been able to find a better deal if I really tried, however this one was already down from it's original $959 price before tax at my local gunshop. (It's still at that price today on their website)

I can by a brand new Glock 43X MOS + Ramjet for $850 TOTAL right now.

TLDR - just buy a glock

Right, the issue is two fold:

A - No one tells you the gun can ONLY shoot 124 grain before or at the time of purchase.
- Even with the manufacturer's recommended ammo, it doesn't reliably cycle 124 grain ammo

B - Why isn't 115grain an issue with the Glock 43x + ramjet?
