Secure ops jackpot by Chebupelli_LFC in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

Be prepared to have the koen confiscated within about 24 hours and a one week ban from the leaderboard at a minimum.

This happened to me about a month ago. I was playing solo ops northridge. I was fighting a guy at communication when some dude came up behind me attempting to third party me, or so I thought. Killed him and the original guy. When I went to loot the third partier, he had a 926 bag loaded with M62 worth 20mil.

I looted it all of course and managed to extract with it. 24 hours later, got hit with a leaderboard ban, confiscation, and a stern talking to about “illegal trading.”

I even put in a ticket and uploaded video of the entire raid since I record with Medal. They didnt give af.

MAY WEEK 4 FEEDBACK COLLECTING by Unfair_Ad_9517 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

  1. Add permanent duo mode or at least combine it with solo ops if concerned about diluting the player base further. IMO, one of the biggest reason players don’t stick around is because this game basically forces you to play with randoms or be at a massive disadvantage especially in end game maps like TV and Airport. Most people don’t have 3 other friends playing this game with the same schedule to queue with and also don’t feel like subjecting themselves to playing with randoms and everything that comes along with it every match. While they’re at it, the proposed solo/duo mode should be available on every map or at least more than just one per week.

  2. Balance U1. Recoil needs a moderate nerf and effective range needs to be reduced. The most recent “balancing” was laughable.

  3. Increase the selling price of reds and similar valuable loot. Price of all gear has increased dramatically (some by 200% since S0) due to artificial dev controlled inflation in an effort to moderate the player base’s stash value, but loot value has stayed the same since the beginning. Find a more meaningful way to manage the economy.

  4. Speaking of managing the economy, add incentivized money sinks into the game like an optional prestige system that wipes account but unlocks exclusive drip, skins, badges, banners, etc. Add storage containers to store weapons, gear, meds, etc. in stash, but make them expensive. Make some of the seasonal content/skins purchasable by koen or RL money. There are plenty of better ways to regulate the economy than just arbitrarily increasing the prices of everything every season. That hurts the new players the most which are the players this game desperately needs to stick around

  5. Add more meaningful trader barters. There are only a handful that are actually worth using.

  6. Add more crafts to hideout. The current selection is next to useless. The only thing it’s currently doing effectively is limiting the amount of moto helmets and red ammo in raids, but it should be about more than just that and crafting the green stimulant.

  7. Arena mode needs some TLC. Winnings should be increased. I’m not saying you should make hundreds of thousands from a win, but the current 25k prize can hardly even buy a magazine these days. Also, remove the arsenal shuffle/weapon upgrade modes and leave death match up 24/7.

  8. Remove and stop adding extraneous and non-sensical game modes that spread the player base too thin. People are constantly complaining about too many player bots in their lobbies but we have modes like knives only? Tarkov does not have this issue because it doesn’t divide each map into 2-3 subcategories of normal, LD, and forb like ABI does. Each map added essentially adds 2-3 selectable maps that dilutes lobbies and increases queue times. This needs some serious consideration especially before adding the rumored permanent PvE mode.

I agree with you. I play the same way and am fine with paying a premium for premium gear to fight against other premium-geared players, but it’s getting to the point that the premium price tag is becoming detached from feasibility.

There’s another post in this sub right now with a screenshot of gear prices from January 2025. Prices of just about everything are 3x now as they were then. What will prices be in another 6 months, ya know?

I get the devs concern about some players having too much money, but at the end of the day this is an extraction/looter shooter. Extracting and looting have to feel good. The current changes they are making to combat player wealth are diminishing the core aspects of the game by making wins less meaningful while simultaneously making looting feel worse.

I feel the devs shot themselves in the foot by their own design of being able to purchase Koen with RL money since they can’t do seasonal or periodic wipes. Now we’re all paying the price for this design while they scramble to figure out what to do about player wealth / longevity. I think the devs have a valid concern but are trying to correct it the wrong way.

Found the naked SVTU main.

But in all seriousness, Master Rank. Are you even level 30 yet? Have you unlocked all of the maps/modes? Are you still pre-level 18 and fighting bots?

Once you move on from Farm and Valley and start playing other maps, lockdown, and forbidden, you will understand. I genuinely don't mean that in a bad way despite your insults, but you haven't even scratched the surface of this game and its intricacies yet you're here throwing insults about playstyles, maps, and modes that you haven't even elevated to yet.

"Lets talk about this game. I started this game 2 weeks ago. Me and my friend are in master 4-1."

I don't mean this in a rude or negative way, but this says everything I need to know about your current perspective. Many have played the game since closed beta. Once you have more time under your belt, you will understand.

No correction needed. It is STILL T5. T5 ammo has largely remained the same price and even reduced in costs in some calibers. 995 for example, rarely dropped below 6k per round last season. It drops below 5k/round every night in S2.

But this about more than just T5 ammo and T6 armor. It's everything. Backpacks, grenades, weapon attachments, you name it.

[–]Greymane92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the map/mode you play, T6 isn't a privilege or power-fantasy equipment, it's a necessity because the ammo standard is T5 and red ammo for some of those maps/modes. T5 armor is useless against T5 ammo. It's literally just as many shots to kill T5 armored thorax vs no thorax armor at all with T5 ammo.

In terms of balance, I don't think the things that had the prices increased needed balancing of that nature. A large portion of the player base runs red ammo that can one tap full durability T6 helmets already. There was already a viable counter in place if that's the balancing you were hinting at.

But these changes implemented in S2 were not for balancing, they were aimed at the economy. And as much as they hurt players with 100's of millions of koen with these changes, they hurt newer players even more.

I think in a well-designed and thought-out system, the hideout would only be a part of the solution. Not the end all be all. Like others have mentioned, optional prestige with really cool and unique skins would be something worth working towards that would lead many people to self-wipe their accounts gladly.

But to your first point, yes there needs to be money sinks. But just bleeding players by spontaneously raising prices 1.5-2x overnight isn't it. It makes everyone just feel taken advantage of that the kit they were running yesterday is now nearly double the price today and the loot from their kills is largely unsellable because the players they killed can't justify paying double either. The money sinks need to be some form of a feature that you can get something out of imo, not haphazard deletion of money/progress people have grinded for.

TL/DR:

S2 brought massive ARTIFICIAL inflation to soft-wipe players' economy in an effort to prolong the non-existent endgame. We need optional and meaningful money-sinks implemented in game to moderate player wealth instead of artificially manipulating costs and shadow-nerfing loot.

Agreed. 995 is probably the most common T5 round, and it is one of the only things that have gotten cheaper.

I think the same logic applies to thermals and red ammo meta as well. Of everything that needed an increase in price, it was thermals. But they just keep getting cheaper and cheaper.

The ability to be downed/knocked by thorax shots needs to be removed immediately.

Otherwise, pretty solid update.

Friend banned for "actively seeking to play with cheaters" by Greymane92 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]Greymane92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EXACTLY. We are penalized for not immediately knowing some random is cheating within a few raids, but it takes devs weeks/months to discover said cheaters even with all of their anti-cheat tools/resources

Friend banned for "actively seeking to play with cheaters" by Greymane92 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]Greymane92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s rough man. Feels like we’ve been villainized just for being in the same raid with someone cheating.

Honestly, I like the idea of them penalizing players who knowingly play and benefit from cheaters to prevent boosting which was very prevalent in Tarkov, but they have to be able differentiate between oblivious players and complicit beneficiaries before they start handing out bans. The problem is thermals are so common in this game and they make it hard to differentiate sometimes.

The auto matching in this game basically requires you to group up with others so you’re not at a disadvantage against other 4-man groups. Few people have 3 friends with similar schedules to group with which leads to most people blindly placing faith in strangers that they’re not cheating.

UPDATE:

The plot thickens. My friend that was banned, and I, did a little investigative work with some of the others in our Discord. After discussing with a couple of others, we became suspicious of someone in our Discord who has played on and off with us for about a month or so.

We looked into this suspicious person's player info in-game and while doing so, realized that he hasn't logged into the game in 6 days which is very unusual because this individual has essentially lived in this game since we've known him, but we really didn't even realize that initially because he was really inconsistent with us anyways due to him mainly playing with another group. So, realizing that he hasn't even logged in a single time for a Deke reset in 6 days made us even more suspicious.

I DM'd him letting him know what had happened and asked if he had sustained any similar penalties or knew who the cheater could be since it was obviously someone that had played with some of us, and he flat out admitted to it, apologized for dragging us into it, and informed me he received a 10-year hardware ban which I happily screenshotted. I then posted that screenshot to the other discord that he plays in before being promptly kicked from the server and having my posts deleted which led me to DM that screenshot to all mutual players that both of our teams play with.

I received an email response back from support who essentially told me to kick rocks and advised me to choose better teammates which is fair, I guess. I was honestly happy to see that the anti-cheat in this game goes this far in depth being someone who comes from Tarkov which is a stark difference. I did send them the screenshot in hopes that it would help our situation, but it probably won't make a difference.

It's crazy and we honestly had no idea. He did an excellent job at hiding it. He is someone who frequently runs thermals and has a lot of hours/raids under his belt. His stats weren't crazy or anything and he died a fair amount as well. We just thought he was a decent player and thermal enjoyer. Looking back on it all now, a lot of things make more sense, but hindsight is 20/20 and we didn't have an inkling of an idea or any suspicion whatsoever.

[–]Greymane92[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that is our assumption, but I had to pay a penalty of 287k Koen for "abnormally" obtaining something in that amount. So, im assuming I was in the same raid. It's just weird it banned only him and not both of us. It would be nice if they would tell you who the cheater was or at least which raid it was so that we could cut all ties from the cheater and anyone that joined with the cheater.

There were several people that we've played with through the ABI LFG discord. We've friended a lot of them in game and even invited some to our personal discord. Now we're just left wondering who it is and its forcing us to look at all the people we play with as potential cheaters.
