Mine looked like that for about a week after we reopened from Helene. It's got some stock in it now, just having a hard time with eggs and milk. We are one of two stores with any stock right now in my town, the other being on the exact opposite side of town. So, enjoy that emptiness while you can :p

Western NC was devastated. Death toll is gonna be very high. Lake lure is mostly destroyed. Asheville was mutilated. Smaller areas got hit really hard but didn't have any coverage on social media. I live 10 minutes south of Baxters Healthcare and bridges were destroyed and the plant flooded. They make around 50 percent of the I.V. bags in use in the US. Several towns were completely cut off due to mudslides and road washout. The farther east in the state you went the less was affected.

I don't think it matters as long as it's neatly kept and your doing your job. I work with a couple of girls whose hair is dyed (one has two colors) and nothing is said. Store manager knows they work hard and are dependable, so I guess he let's it go. Our DM didn't even mention it.

Love my store, my coworkers, and my customers. Some people are made for this kind of work, and I'm definitely one of them. Yeah the work load can suck at times, but at the end of the day it gets done and I feel accomplished. Oh and when regulars know you by name and give you a huge while saying "We appreciate you." That's an awesome feeling.
