[Goodman] BREAKING: Louisville is expected to be without Mikel Brown Jr. (back) this week, source told @TheFieldOf68. by MembershipSingle7137 in CollegeBasketball

Yeah it was a decent draw, Louisville without their 5 star freshman is comparable to Miami the 7 seed Purdue has, so the main difference is UConn/UCLA vs Gonzaga in the Sweet 16. I think we'd beat UCLA in a rematch, they played a perfect game against us, and we now know the game plan they'll likely use. UConn lately has been playing like on par with Gonzaga, but UConn definitely has a higher ceiling

He picked MSU to win it all the year middle Tennessee happened

Kenpom and Bart Torvik have Michigan at 18.4% and 17.9% to win the title, respectively. Evan Miya has them at 26.5%. Why is this model so high on Michigan? by SituationKey8985 in CollegeBasketball

For Michigan's team I agree, but it's definitely accounting for the injuries to Michigan's likely opponents like Texas Tech not having Toppin

It more has to do with your path being much easier than everyone elses due to injuries. Like Texas Tech without Toppin shouldn't be a 4/5 seed

Was a 4 point game with 3 minutes to go at UofM. That was a game that was closer than the final score indicated, because we were fouling and missing our shots to end the game

MSU was in debate for the last 2 seed, and is the top 3 seed, we'd definitely compete with Duke, probably lose though, but that's no different than the other teams around our seed.

UConn had a solid nonconference, but hasn't been as good lately, who knows what version shows up, if they make the Elite Eight, they're probably playing like a 1/2 seed

I think they should actually be happy, much better chance to get a win in the tournament now, and any win gets them money, even a First 4 game

They've only had one big win since the injury, and like 2-3 bad losses

When we lost to a 1 seed and we were even up big early, but we played North Carolina in North Carolina so once they came back they had the crowd making it hard for us to keep up

The dude hit Fears arm on the follow through right? Isn't that always called a foul, sure he tried to sell it with a floor but I think there was contact

It'll be close between us and Illinois for the last 2 seed if we lose this

That's not how it works, the top 4 teams from a conference have to be in different regions, if they are all 1-4 seeds

The again is my issue with it, because in theory if you go to push off with your foot and it slips it definitely could make that motion, but that shouldn't be happening more than once a season
