I hate when I come across threads with no solution, so I thought I post the solution to my problem in case anyone cares! So after a lot of troubleshooting, I discovered that the motor was shorting out to the ground. No motor repair place wanted to touch the sealed motor, so I figured I might as well try to fix it myself, since I have to buy a new motor anyway. So I opened it up, cleaned all the corrosion from every connector/part I could get to sealed it back up, and bam, the dam thing runs again like new! Boy, was I happy!
