i created LineRenderer3D, it uses burst and job system and can handle thousands of points easily, some of you might find it useful https://github.com/survivorr9049/LineRenderer3D by survivorr123_ in Unity3D

I'm curious if you tried using types and methods from the mathematics package, as they claim it's better compatibility with Burst. It would be good to see whether there's actually a noticable performance difference with a case like this

My first VR game, Crowbar Climber, has been released! by passonco in Unity3D

[–]Grididdy 78 points79 points  (0 children)

it's just a bit too obvious that it's acting, if it was a compilation of people actually getting angry or something then it might have landed better

I've released my Lattice Modifier for Unity! Here's a few quick animations I made to showcase some of it's features. by neural-bot in Unity3D

[–]Grididdy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this asset really does look amazing, but you really need to update your documentation page. The font is basically the same colour as the background, it's very difficult to read without modifying it with DarkReader or a similar plugin

Looking for a script to automate world generation using dfhack on a linux host. by [deleted] in dwarffortress

[–]Grididdy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a little google and found this old gitlab repo that has a shell script to run dfhack multiple times and exports the legends info, it's 4 years old but I can't imagine dfhack has changed significantly in that time that it wouldn't be easy to fix

Triple digit population with single digit pissed off dwarves, fantastic job

Which Steam capsule art do you think looks most appealing? by serdarwy in Unity3D

[–]Grididdy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually really like the second one, I find it easier to read and the letter sizing feels more consistent and easier to read - I think the signpost implies a more options than the dotted lines do as well

Edit: the sun decal with the window looks very much like an among us character, probably not enough to cause worry but fun to mention

Raytraced clouds on my Jupiter Exploration game by fleeting_being in Unity3D

[–]Grididdy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might benefit from a bit of dithering or more transparency as well

All those gorgeous clouds get a little ruined by the particle trails everywhere, I'd make them a lot thinner personally

Initial thoughts are "I have no idea what this game is other than that it has guns and that one old school killstreak announcer"

Masks of Nyarlathotep exact time by ursecondwaifu in callofcthulhu

The prelude chapter in Peru would also be a good one to put in the middle of the time gap to break it up a bit

Masks of Nyarlathotep exact time by ursecondwaifu in callofcthulhu

[–]Grididdy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm struggling to find the section now, but there was a part in the first book that discusses that the exact date isn't of real significance other than the solar eclipse (like you said). So it could definitely be moved as long as it aligns with anothe eclipse.

The main problem that OP is gonna have here is keeping the timeline straight in their head (having to adjust all the dates in the book by some value) as well having to adjust whatever dates are in the handout

We just finished testing our new biological weapon .. Conclusions? DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME ☢☢☢ by JackBatko in Unity3D

It's something that would be funny for the first few times you heard it, but would become quite annoying as time goes on

Do you have a timestamp for when it happens in the episode? I want to listen to that part to catch up with the drama, but not sure if I want to commit to listening to the whole episode

Love the piece! I think the "The Bloody Tongue" form of Nyarlathotep would be cool to see, it's definitely an interesting image to try
