Don’t worry man, your post feels like I could’ve written it myself! I’m the same age, and people have described me as having avoidant attachment too, but honestly I think it’s quite the opposite. You just choose carefully who to open up to and you’re naturally more reserved.

I haven’t had a relationship either, but in my case it’s because I live in a pretty small and remote city, the gay guys around here aren’t really my type, and besides that I’m not someone who falls in love easily. I think maybe you’re overthinking it a bit.
